This product is great. It is not see-through like some people have claimed. It is a very durable pool pad that goes beneath the pool. It actually feels quite better than sand in my opinion, and my spot for my pool has little pebbles. You don’t even fill them. It is reasonably priced compared to the price of sand these days It is a perfect budget friendly mat of high quality as far as the dimensions go. It is slightly bigger, not much, but slightly, so it fits as expected. Overall, I would recommend this seller. They are true to their description of the item.

Excellent Protection Under Our Pool
We put this underneath our 12-foot round above-ground pool, and it’s worked perfectly. The material is much thicker than I expected and has a dense felt-like texture that provides a nice protective barrier between the pool liner and the ground.
One of the biggest benefits has been keeping grass and weeds from growing underneath the pool. Even after being in place for a while, we’ve had no issues with plants pushing up beneath it, which was one of my biggest concerns.
Overall, this has been an excellent addition to our pool setup. It’s sturdy, easy to install, and provides exactly the protection we were hoping for.
Pool Liner Pad
I recently purchased the 15FT Pool Liner Pad for my above ground pool, and it has made a noticeable difference in both comfort and protection.
Installation was simple—just laid it down before setting up the pool, and it fit nicely without much adjusting. The material feels durable and thicker than I expected, which gave me confidence that it’s actually protecting the liner from rocks, roots, and uneven ground underneath.
Once the pool was filled, I could immediately tell the bottom felt smoother underfoot. It adds a nice cushion, especially for kids who spend a lot of time sitting or playing at the bottom of the pool. It also seems to help with insulation a bit, keeping the water from cooling as quickly overnight.
One thing I really appreciate is the peace of mind it gives. Even if there were small imperfections in the ground prep, the pad acts like a strong barrier so I’m not constantly worrying about punctures or wear and tear on the liner.
If I had to mention a downside, it’s that you really want to measure carefully before installation—once it’s under a filled pool, adjustments obviously aren’t possible. Also, depending on your ground, you may still want to level and clear debris thoroughly first; this isn’t a replacement for good prep, just an extra layer of protection.

This 15FT pool liner pad has been a great addition under my aboveground pool. It was easy to put down, and the thick padding gives me confidence that the bottom of the pool is well protected. I really appreciate that it comes with ground nails/mini stakes, they kept the pad in place so it didn’t fold, shift, or bunch up while setting the pool on top. That alone made setup much smoother.
The soft felt texture is a bonus. Since my pool is 14ft, that extra foot of padding around the edges feels great to step on when getting in and out. It adds a little comfort and keeps dirt from kicking right up to the pool wall.
We have some persistent weeds and roots in the yard that have pushed through other liners before, so I’m hopeful this thicker pad truly works as a punctureresistant weed barrier. I haven’t had it long enough to test longterm durability, but so far it’s doing exactly what I need.

I wanted something a little better for this year’s pool setup, then I saw this. What I used to put on the ground, under the pool before setting it up last year, was similar but it was thin, and you could still feel rocks and twigs under your feet through the bottom of the pool. Fortunately, we didn’t have any punctures, which speaks well to the dense felt-material, but I was pleasantly surprised with this beefy, absolutely superior pool liner.
It arrived and the package was larger than expected. That was my first clue. It got even bigger when I took it out of the vacuum packing. I had no idea, even though the listing says 360g/M2. I compared the specs and this liner weighs roughly twice as much its predecessor.
The liner protects your pool from debris, roots, rocks and weeds and a heavier liner even more so. The floor of the pool feels much better now and I feel better knowing the pool is well-protected. The seller claims the pad “boosts slip-resistance.” I’ll have to watch for that. The appearance is a pleasant dark black. The liner is 80% permeable, so water doesn’t collect, but should also aid in allowing some airflow for a healthier environment. The liner performs such an important function for the pool setup but is also very versatile. I am thinking about getting another to put under a tent/screen-room. I’m also considering one for protection under a mattress on a plywood platform. I could go on, but you get the idea. Current price for my 12-foot version is about $40.00. It is definitely worth the price especially considering it is the foundation upon which the investment in my pool rests.
