This 18 foot pool liner pad worked well under my above ground pool. It was easy to lay out in one piece and fit nicely without having to piece together a bunch of sections. The material does feel a little thin at first, but once it is spread out under the pool it still gives a good protective layer between the ground and the liner.
I like that it helps protect against small rocks, roots, and rough spots that could wear on the pool liner over time. It also gives a cleaner surface to set the pool on and makes the install feel more finished. Overall, it is a good value for the money and a simple way to help extend the life of the pool liner. Five stars.
Good Liner. Its Better Than I Expected
The felt isn’t super thick, but it’s not flimsy either—it’s just thick enough to get the job done. I really like it. It makes the pool floor much softer to walk on. Now I can’t wait to finish the landscaping around the pool!
Protects you pool for sharp objects on the ground.
This is a 12′ circular piece of on-woven geotextile, similar in nature and weight to what grow-bags are made out of. It’s designed to go underneath a pool to keep it from being pierced by items on the ground.
It’s reasonably thick, and seems like it will be plenty durable as it’s protected by the pool. I wouldn’t put it on rocks, and you’ll want to be sure to inspect the ground and get it as clean as you can before you put it down, but if you have dirt or grass without a lot of hazards it should do a fine job for you.
Excellent Protection for Your Pool Investme
This pool liner pad is thick, durable, and easy to install. It laid out nicely beneath the pool and provided an excellent protective barrier between the liner and the ground.
It gives me extra peace of mind knowing it’s helping protect against rocks, roots, and other debris that could damage the liner. The material feels high quality and should hold up well over time.
If you’re setting up a new above-ground pool, this is definitely worth adding.
