Easy to lay out and connect up. Consistent drip drop drip.
I am very happy with this 1/4 inch drip line which I recently got from Vikua for watering some garden spaces. The PE tubing is tough and will withstand a lot of use.

The over-molded emitters each have two ports, arranged in opposing sides of the tubing. With this size I can create a 6 inch bend (3 inch radius) without it kinking, so it is pretty easy to get the tubing arranged as I want it. We have also used it on an annual flows bed. That works fine as well. It is just important to lay out the tubing with your flower planting. At least it is much easier to do it then.

I am using this 1/4″ drip line with emitters every 6 inches in separate applications to water circular patterns around some rose bed plants and blueberry bushes.

The 0.5 gph emitters seem to provide consistent water output and I have laid the lines out with 6 inch spacing between loops to wet the root area consistently. Our soil does transfer laterally at all if it dries out, so I just space it for the water to drop straight in.

The 1/4 inch tube is a standard size and works great with fittings which I have left from some drip line installation we laid out two years ago.

The brown color works fine. Actually doesn’t make too much difference if it is black or brown since we will have a light mulch layer over it anyhow.
