- 【 】The solar panel is equipped with bypass diodes and multiple anti-shading protections, but it is still not recommended for long-term fixed, series or parallel connections, or operation under shaded conditions. Avoid connecting panels with different lifespans or aging levels in series or parallel. Do not touch the panel during operation. Do not place heavy objects on the panel, step on it, or apply excessive pressure, as this may crack the solar cells and reduce power output. Keep the surface clean and free from dust, debris, or grass shading, as partial obstruction can lead to heat buildup and reduced efficiency, ensuring safe and stable operation
Will the ZOUPW 480W solar panel work with my power station?
Yes. Optimized for large stations (43V+ input). Includes 4-in-1 cables: XT60 for EcoFlow Delta, Bluetti Elite & Anker; DC7909 & DC8020 for Jackery; Anderson for others. Verify your device supports 50V+ input before connecting.
Can I permanently mount this solar panel for long-term outdoor use?
Although this panel features bypass diodes, non-destructive cutting cells, and advanced composite materials, it is not recommended for fixed installations. To ensure the product's longevity, please avoid long-term operation under shaded conditions.
Can I leave this solar panel outside in heavy rain while camping?
Yes. The 480W bifacial panel features a top-tier IP68 waterproof rating, meaning it can withstand heavy rain and even temporary submersion. It is specifically built for rugged outdoor environments where weather can be unpredictable.
How much extra power does the bifacial feature provide in a normal backyard?
While peak gain can reach 30% on highly reflective surfaces like snow, a 10% boost is a very realistic result on common surfaces like grass or concrete. This provides roughly 48W of additional power, making your charging more efficient.

It’s light and works so far after a couple of weeks of testing. Trying it again today. This was purchased for emergency and camping use only. Just getting started in solar and wanted my first panels to be portable. As far as I can tell so far you def pay a premium for their portability. If you want to save a lot of money and don’t require portability then obviously go fixed. The 480 watt version has sold out almost immediately after I purchased so I ended up buying a second 450 watt. The pigtail they give you is very handy and has multiple connectors for flexibility. The carrying case actually works! You can easily get the panels back into their case and there is a second pocket for your cables. The panels are sturdy and the supports work great for my needs. As I said I’m a nube with solar but so far these have met all my expectations. I only gave a 4 star at this point due to price, lack of availability for the 480 volt, and because I have not had enough test time. Power output has been stable and peaked above 480 when we have the sun.
I absolutely love this foldable biracial panel. It performs very well. I bought the 480 and the 450 panels which is actually running 1 full sized fridge from my Sumry 3600w hybrid inverter with 2 12v 280ah batteries. With the sun on the panels it’s not pulling anything from the batteries which is amazing. I can run my furnace and two large refrigerators with zero issues. I would recommend these to anyone.
Amazing, with 2 drawbacks. First the amazing parts. Very light for the power, great accessory package (lengthy mc4 cable and every adapter you could want). And amazing performance. I hit 520w in February in North Carolina. Even with the angle of the legs best optimized for summer sun. Downsides: a bit pricey compared to their other panels or much heavier, non-portable panels. And it’s very large. Make sure to check measurements where you plan to place them. My porch is barely big enough for the 11.5 foot size. Very highly recommended if price and size are not an issue, was shocked to get well over rated watts in winter at incorrect angle. And super light.
Got 470w in direct sunlight which is very good. A little disappointed in the shade tolerance, with maybe 25% shading on one of the 4 panels, the entire setup dropped down to 120watts
These panels are ridiculously good. So are the 450W, which I have 4 of. They, like these 480s outperform their ratinga routinely. I bought white tarps to go behind these, I bought 2, because they are bifacial and for example, I’m pulling over 1000 watts with them in a series string. These are a little pricier than what they sell normally, especially on Amazon cuz you don’t get the discount but they were still sold out on their website so I paid the extra and they’re still worth it. They’re still the best bang for the buck in the industry in terms of portable solar panels.
