I have been needing a new litter box for my cats. I have 2 girls who have 3 boxes in the house. One in the basement, 2 up stairs. One box is old and just needs to go. I had been looking into some boxes big enough because the current one while tall, is not very long so its cramped for them.
I was very happy that the stainless steel was of good quality and designed well. Everything snapped together easily and snugly. The depth is good enough to hold a ton of litter, its tall enough for my girls to get around in it easily. And the litter retention is solid.
The best part, is my cats were actually curious about the box and not afraid of it. They have had 0 issues using it, which was a huge relief
I am very happy with this box, and I am considering getting 2 more for my house and replacing the other 2 boxes.
I have a side by side comparison of the old box next to the new box and I honestly could not be happier with this.
I couldn’t be happier with this XXXL Stainless Steel Litter Box with Lid! The extra-large size (28″ L x 20.5″ W x 16.5″ H) is perfect, especially if you have bigger cats or multiple cats; it gives them plenty of space and keeps everything contained. The stainless steel design is a huge upgrade from plastic because it doesn’t absorb odors and is so much easier to clean. I’ve noticed a big difference in how fresh the area stays. The enclosed lid helps reduce litter tracking and keeps things looking neat, which I really appreciate. It feels sturdy, well-made, and built to last. Definitely a 5-star purchase for any cat owner looking for durability and cleanliness!
I love this litter box so much! It’s not perfect, but it’s great and solves most of the issues I was having with my cat’s enthusiastic litter usage. I needed a covered box, because my cat was flinging litter everywhere, and I was tired of so much cleanup every day. However, I struggled to find a covered box that was big enough for my long cat. They were too short in height and not wide enough in the tray area. I finally found this one, and the size is perfect for my cat. Bonus is the stainless steel tray. And the ivory color lid goes with my decor. Assembly was quick and easy, and my cat went right inside to check it out. The door design makes it easy to scoop between deep cleans without touching the interior walls or having to remove the entire lid. Things for improvement: would like the steel tray to be deeper, so there’s less spray on the plastic lid. We all know plastic can hold odors. The lid is a little warped, so getting it locked back on after cleaning takes a bit of work. The slats in the included scoop are wider than I like, so I’m using my old scoop. And at this price I wish a litter mat was included. However, this box by far contains litter better than any other box I’ve tried.
I recently got this XXXL litter box and I’m honestly impressed. The size is perfect for larger cats or multiple cats — there’s plenty of room for them to move around comfortably without making a mess. The high walls help keep litter contained, and the front grate is great for catching loose litter from their paws. It feels sturdy and well made, and cleaning it is very easy thanks to the wide opening and removable top. If you have a big cat or just want less mess around the box, this is definitely worth it.
We actually bought this for our free roam rabbit. The one we had been using was big enough, but not very deep so he was able to easily kick hay out and all over the surrounding area.
I wasnt sure how I felt about spending $100 for a litterbox, but im so glad that we did. I saw the dimensions when I ordered it. Still, I was pleasantly surprised when it came by how large it actually is. It’s probably two times the one we had before.. and it was a fairly decent size.
I love that it’s stainless steel. If you own a rabbit or know anything about them, you know that their urine is pretty gross, even moreso than other animals urine lol. Stainless steel makes cleaning so much easier.
It was simple to put together. It’s essentially 3 pieces, plus the ‘door’. You take the stainless steel litter pan(1), clip on the middle, lip piece (2) just by pressing down until you hear it click, and then attach the very top/rood piece(3), by pushing in two side ‘buttons’, also until it clicks. We attached the doorframe piece(4) by easily clipping it in to the top opening, but we leave it all the way up and open because our rabbit hasn’t quite figured out that it swings open and he can go through it. Though, he has a brain the size of a grape, so what can ya do? Lol. So for us, it having the option to leave it open was a great bonus for us.
It isn’t incredibly heavy, but it is definitely sturdy and seems quite durable. I love that it’s deep enough that he can’t sling hay everywhere, while still being able to easily get in and out of. It also has a spot on the lid that twists open to insert a carbon filter that comes with the litterbox, and helps reduce odor.
We have a cat as well, and even though she already has her own litterbox, we are considering buying a second one for her.
So to sum up, while it’s a bit pricey, if you can afford it, it’s a great buy. Works great! Keeps litter and odor in, and makes cleaning easy. Large enough if you have multiple cats, or have large breeds like maine coons etc.
Easy to Clean and No Odors
Love this litter box! The stainless steel is so much easier to keep clean than plastic and doesn’t hold odors. The extra-large size is perfect for my cats, and the high sides help keep litter and mess contained. Sturdy, easy to clean, and worth the money. Would definitely buy again.
Very good sandbox, it is spacious and easy to clean. The lid helps control odors and prevents the sand from coming out. Resistant material and good design. I recommend it to keep everything more tidy.
