A great little garden tool I used this rake to flatten and level my garden when I redid the lawn. The rake is solidly built, but easy to handle. The fact that it has a sectioned handle which can be adjusted for length ensures that it is ergonomic no matter what the height of the person using it.
The product video is slightly misleading. You cannot expect to pour out some compost and level it out in one go. A small mound of material inevitably accumulates at the leading edge of the rake. So, you have to make several passes after flattening out the mound after each pass. If that mound of excess material gets smaller with each pass – you are doing things right.
Built Tough and Gets the Job Done Righ I’ve used a few different tools over the years to level out low spots and smooth out topdressing in my yard, and the Walensee Lawn Leveling Rake has been hands-down the best one so far. The 30″x10″ head covers a good amount of ground without being too bulky, and the 7FT steel handle gives you the reach and leverage you need without bending or flexing like some cheaper models. It was easy to assemble!
It worked great on both soil and sand, and made it surprisingly easy to level out bumpy areas and blend in new dirt. I used it after aerating and overseeding, and it really helped give the lawn a smooth, even surface.
The tool feels solid, well-constructed, and built to last — definitely not flimsy or cheaply made. If you’re serious about lawn care or just want a pro-level finish in your yard or garden, this is worth every dollar. I can see this lasting for many seasons to come.

Ich habe wahrscheinlich viel zuviele Stunden meines Lebens damit verbracht hier Bewertungen von unterschiedlichen Rasenrakeln zu lesen und am Ende diesen hier bestellt. Top Gert, hat gestern sehr gut funktioniert, sehr stabil und gleitet perfekt (denkt dran den Rasen vorher maximal kurz zu schneiden). Nehmt unbedingt den breiten, das hilft enorm bei grossen Flchen, aber denke selbst bei kleinen hilft es dabei keine lokalen Hhenunterschiede zu kriegen.
Einziger Kritikpunkt: wenn man mit dem usseren Ende des Rakels in etwas reinfhrt, verbiegt sich das Gelenk in der Mitte wo der Stiel befestigt ist (das packt diese Hebelkrfte nicht). Man kann ihn aber wieder geradebiegen- sehr oft geht das aber wohl nicht bis das Metall bricht.
Careful choosing size Package included all parts as described and rake was easy to assemble. I bought the 40 inch blade without taking weight into consideration. At 7 feet long and just over 35 pounds it’s exhausting for me (70 yr old F) but it does the job. I didn’t have trouble moving soft loamy sand but leveling dirt mixed with some clay clumps was too hard. I had to use a standard size steel rake first, then finish with the leveling rake.

The tool feels sturdy and well-made, and the long handle makes it comfortable to use without too much bending. It handled soil and sand smoothly, and saved me a lot of time and hassle. Excellent value — highly recommended for anyone serious about their lawn.
Trs bon compromis Pour notre usage, avec un terrain en pente par endroits, le format 76x25cm est trs bien adapt : pas trop encombrant, pas trop large, pas trop lourd. Super pratique et robuste, et ce malgr un manche/mt qui de prime abord peut laisser perplexe. En effet, celui-ci n’est pas parfaitement stable comme vant dans la description, mais cela ne drange pas lors de l’utilisation du rteau.
Ah oui… “freely adjust the length of pole”, euh… pas vraiment : dans les faits, on pourra travailler avec un manche assembl avec soit 2 soit 3 manchons, c’est tout.
The handle is in sections at the bottom of the box!! My apologies for the previous poor comment, I have discovered the handle in the bottom of the packing box in five sections.
It is now assembled and works perfectly, it is well engineered and finished.
Quality, handle length and maneuverability exceeded my expectations. Many options available from multiple companies. It was hard to choose what was best. After making a decision, I chose what I felt was the best product and the rake did not disappoint me. This rake performed like the offer said. It was easy to assemble. The length of the handle allowed me to distribute the dirt easily giving me a level area for seeding. The quality of the rake, durability, and weight provided easy handling. I highly recommend this product for small and large leveling jobs.
