Si buscas un accesorio que no rompa la esttica de tu coche, este es el definitivo. Aqu mis puntos clave tras probarlo:
* Esttica Minimalista: Lo que ms me preocupaba era que “manchara” el diseo interior, pero todo lo contrario. Se integra perfectamente con las lneas del coche, manteniendo ese aspecto limpio y moderno.
* Ajuste preciso: Queda ajustado al milmetro. No hay holguras, ni ruidos extraos, ni zonas muertas. Parece una pieza que vena instalada de fbrica.
* Color exacto: El tono es idntico al de la tapicera original. Una vez puesto, cuesta distinguir dnde empieza el accesorio y dnde termina el coche.
* Instalacin “Plug & Play”: Me sorprendi lo fcil que es de poner y quitar. No necesitas herramientas ni complicarte la vida; en un momento lo tienes listo, lo cual es ideal si solo quieres usarlo en das especficos.
* Proteccin: Ms all de lo esttico, la funcin de proteccin solar es notable. Se nota una reduccin drstica de la temperatura en el habitculo.
En resumen: Una compra obligatoria si quieres proteger el interior del coche sin sacrificar su diseo original. Totalmente recomendado!
Surprised how good these are
I very rarely write reviews. But after receiving this part, I felt compelled to congratulate them on such a well made perfectly fitted product. Easy to install and I wasn’t even aware that the two sections joined magnetic in the middle so it was a pleasant surprise. . No sagging and looks really good. Purchase for an upcoming camping trip however would consider keeping them up , definitely for the summer.
I’m using this for a short-term period (2 months) and found it quite effective. Here are the details:
Fit & Size: It feels a bit small, leaving minor gaps at the sides and rear. Thankfully, it’s not loose or ‘rattly.’
Magnets: Very good. The magnets are closely spaced along the midline, providing a strong and easy connection.
Thermal Performance: Excellent for overheat prevention and cooling. It’s more of a cooling tool than a heat-retention one.
Efficiency: It definitely helps in maintaining a lower cabin temperature, which assists in better energy efficiency for the car.
Material: Scratch resistance is fine with proper care, though the shiny side may wrinkle easily.
Comparison: Much better rear fitment than the Wigloo, which I returned due to extreme overfitting gaps.
Overall, it’s a practical, mid-range option that does the job well.
This sunshade fitted my 2026 Model Y Juniper Performance perfectly. It was easy to install (youtube videos out there that show how), uses clips that attach to the sunshade and then slide right between the glass roof and the headliner.
Installing it the first time took me all of 10 minutes, but now that I’ve done it once I’ll guess next time it will be half that. Functionally, it makes a world of difference with heat protection in our hot Texas summers. Cosmetically, it looks like part of the car. the material matches perfectly with the black headliner. When not being used, it collapses easily into a compact storage bag (included) and I store it in the trunk.
I plan to keep it installed between May and September and will remove it so I can enjoy the glass roof over the rest of the year. This product exceeded my expectations in every way. That doesn’t happen very often nowadays.
I just finished installing the sunshade into my 2026 model Y. Although the installation was generally easy, I did have to use a fair amount of force to get rid of the overlap between the front and rear sections. Once I was able to get the 2 sections to butt into each other (rather than overlap) the shade fit perfectly all the way around except for the area of the back cutout. The roof opening on my very early model year 2026 (manufactured in July 2025) seems just a bit smaller than the sunshade. The sunshade still works, but the pressure needed to get the two sections to butt against each other in the middle causes the rear section to bow in a bit. This leaves a 1/4″ crack in the cutout area, and causes the fabric to wrinkle a bit as can be seen from the attached picture. I can push the clip under the molding but it just slides back out. I did notice that there are some extra clips in the supplied clip box that look like they may grab and hold onto the molding. I haven’t tried these yet, but they might solve the issue of this one small opening. My only reservation with trying this solution is that these clips might be tougher to remove when taking down the sunscreen. I might wait to see if my molding naturally relaxes a bit over time, allowing the back edge to straighen out and cover the small opening that now exists.
Other than this one 1/4″ crack in the middle of the back panel, the sunroof fits very tightly all the way around, leaving no places for the sun to enter.
From my initial experience I would guess that it would take me 3 or 4 minutes to put up the shade any time that I re-installed it, and 1-2 minutes to take it down and get both sections into the bag. This is probably enough hassle that I will leave it up all the time from May to October here in Sacramento.
Although pricier than some sunshades, I consider it worth the investment.

Really glad I purchased the sunshade. It fits well and makes the interior more comfortable when it’s sunny. It’s easy to install and I recommend this to anybody who wants to keep their cabin darker and cooler during the summer.

Zuerst mal: Installation? Kinderleicht. Kein Gefummel mit Klebern oder Werkzeug — einfach ausrollen, andocken und fertig. Passt perfekt auf das Panoramadach des Model Y, blockt UV-Strahlen wie ein Black-Metal-Vorhang und hlt die Kabine khl, auch wenn drauen die Apokalypse tobt. In Wacken hab ich’s bei 30 Grad plus Headbanging-Massen ausprobiert: Kein Schwitzen im Auto, whrend ich auf dem Festivalgelnde war. Stattdessen: Angenehme Khle, als ob Elon Musk persnlich einen Klimaanlagen-Boost reingehauen htte.
Aber der Hammer? Die Blickdichtung! Stell dir vor, du hast ‘ne coole Metalschlampe (oder wie man’s in Wacken nennt: eine echte Headbanger-Queen) mit ins Auto genommen. Der Sonnenschutz dimmt das Licht genau richtig — nicht zu dunkel, dass man’s nicht mehr sieht, aber genug, um neugierige Blicke von auen abzuhalten. Romantik im Schlamm? Check! Kein Gaffen von drauen, aber drinnen hast du den perfekten Schutz vor neugierigen Augen. Wir haben Slayer gehrt, whrend die Sonne unterging — und der Schutz hat’s zu ‘nem privaten VIP-Lounge gemacht. Kein Wunder, dass der VION aus robustem Material ist: Hitzebestndig, wasserabweisend und ready fr Festival-Chaos.

1. Impressive Heat Reduction
Once the sun is blazing overhead, your glass roof can turn into a greenhouse. But with the VION sunshade in place, I’ve noticed a significant drop in cabin temperature — parking in direct sun no longer feels like stepping into an oven. The dual-material fabric is advertised to block ~95% of ultraviolet rays. (VION claims a thermal conductivity of 0.03 W/m*K)
2. Precision Fit & Seamless Look
The sunshade fits the entire roof span with zero sagging or creases. VION markets this as a precision fit for Model Y glass roofs, and in my case, it aligns perfectly. The magnets embedded in the central seam ensure no light leaks where the two panels meet. At a glance, it seems nearly factory — which is a huge plus for aesthetics.
3. Easy Installation & Removal
Installing was straightforward: align, snap into the roof frame, adjust, and you’re done. Removing and storing it is just as easy. Unlike bulky shade frames, this packs away nicely in my trunk.
4. Reduced Glare & Improved Comfort
Driving through bright mid-day sun used to be a strain on the eyes and AC. With the sunshade deployed, glare is noticeably reduced and the cabin feels more pleasant, especially on long drives.
Nice fit, good color match, I noticed a big difference in the amount of heat I feel coming from the roof. I am no longer sweating when driving the car. It seems well made but we will have to wait and see about durability over time. It is opaque, so if seeing out the roof panel is important to you then consider a different option. It was easy to install by myself, and the view from the rearview mirror is unobstructed. I’d buy this again should I get another car with a similar roof.
Most effective/useful upgrade to my new ModelY. Easy to install (and remove during the winter months). Notable difference in reducing the amount of heat in the car (e.g., faster to cool interior, and less impact on AC system (and its related added battery hit); this is particularly important to me given my South FL climate (hot, humid, sunny). Its value is worth multiple times its cost. If I could only pick one mod/upgrade for the car, this would be it; effective, simple, inexpensive. Great fit (yet not perfect). Highly recommend it (which is rare for me)
