    Wonderful produc
This was so easy to put together, it’s sturdy and the edges are not sharp. They gave great, easy instructions and their website has wonderful videos! Great product. Wish I had 10 of them!

Durable raised beds that can stay outside year round.
Love these Vego Raised Garden Bed Kits! I purchased four of them and created an amazing vegetable garden. They are 17″ tall, the metal panels are thick and durable. Simply screw the panels together using the predrilled holes into the pattern you want. There are many configurations that can be made and the instructions lay out all the different shapes you can make very easily. The kit itself is very heavy, I simply unboxed it and set it up right on the lawn so it was easy to move where I desired once put together. I filled with good garden soil and planted away! Once the season was done I simply removed any dead vegetation and walked away. These beds do not rust and are perfect for year round. Amazing value for the money if you are unable to garden in the ground.

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersBuilt to Last — Premium Raised Garden Bed for Year‑Round Growing
I absolutely love these raised garden beds and have purchased multiple kits from this company. The quality is outstanding—made with durable, Americanmade materials that are clearly built to last. The 17″ height is perfect for climatecontrolled raised bed gardening, allowing for excellent drainage and healthier soil yearround. These beds make gardening easier on your back and are ideal for growing both vegetables and flowers in any season. The metal construction feels solid and welldesigned, and knowing they’re rated to last 25+ years truly makes this a “buy once” investment. If you’re serious about gardening and want a longterm solution, these beds are absolutely worth it.

Golden Review Award: 52 From Our UsersThat plastic though....
Material quality is very good. Aside from the corners being a bit sharp (as expected), the construction was very refined.

The finish is really nice! I ordered the pearl white, and it’s the perfect versatile white color for outdoors. The paint and clearcoat show no chipping and water beads up nicely on it.

The construction is super simple. I didn’t even realize this until a ways into assembly, but the threads of the bolts actually self-tighten as they turn when you wrench the bolts down. I would still highly recommend a ratchet wrench of some sort or a drill on a low-torque setting. The gasket that is installed at the very end is a great final touch to the product.

The one complaint that I have is the thin plastic protection on the product. I tried to remove it in 45F weather, and it took over 5 minutes to FULLY remove the plastic from both sides of a single panel. I later took the items into the garage overnight and it was easier in a 60F environment, but it still took about 4-5 minutes to fully remove from both sides. Finally, I took my heat gun to the panel for a minute to get the temp up to about 90F and the plastic came off at about a minute per side. WHEN TAKING THE PLASTIC OFF, DON’T PULL IT OVER THE RIBS (IT’LL LIKELY RIP), INSTEAD START FROM THE SIDE OF THE PANEL (WHEN VIEWED AS IF IT WERE INSTALLED).

The completed product was actually very robust and I wish I installed it on the deck (level ground) and just picked it up and moved it to position).

At the end of the day, this product is very light weight and has a minimalist feel and I think the price is definitely fair. If you were to build it out of wood or sheet metal yourself, the costs would likely be very similar, plus you’d have to paint and clearcoat the material. BUT….. the full process of removing the protective plastic layer and assembly easily took a solid 2 hours. Build it on a level surface, use a power tool to run down the nuts, and move it to its final location for best results. I’m serious in saying it took over an hour to remove all the plastic though.

    Golden Review Award: 3 From Our Users17” 9in1, 8x2
    I have purchased four of the 17″ 9 in 1, 8×2.

They are time consuming to put together, so what I did was throughout the winter if I was watching tv start putting panels together and it just shaved a little time off once the weather was nice. The assembly is very user friendly and self explanatory,

Once assembled and filled, they look very nice especially with the different color options. I want to see how the first full year goes. I plan to cover during winter

But a little worried about the screws rusting up. I live on an acre and would love about 10 to 15 of them. I’d especially love to never have to build a new bed again! I’m hoping they last as long as the brand says!

More updates over the year to follow.

As of right now, I’m very happy. They are expensive but appear worth the price.

Well made, quality materials. Went together easily – all holes even aligned! Packed well in heavy cardboard, and both sides of each piece coated with plastic film to prevent from scratching. I purchased the 9 in 1, olive green – pretty color. A bit pricey, but you get what you pay for, if your lucky. This will last for years.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersJust what we were looking fo
We have only had this assembled and in use for two weeks, but wow! It looks so good and meets our needs perfectly. We are working with limited space in our new home, but have missed all our flowers and vegetable gardens in our old home. We are trying to be smart in purchasing items that look good, functional, and maximize the space we do have available. This raised bed fits all the checkmarks. It was easy to assemble and is sturdy. Did I mention it looks great!

This is a wonderful raised bed kit. It’s durable, easy to assemble, and looks great in the garden. The 17”depth is ideal for planting a variety of vegetables. I couldn’t be happier with the quality and will definitely buying more.

Golden Review Award: 64 From Our UsersWorth the cos
Update: I now have 8 of these raised beds by Vego as of July 2025. My first Vego raised bed from 2022 is going strong and looks like new, even with mowing and weed whacking around it. Nothing damages these raised beds.

Original review: Over the course of two years I’ve increased to 6 of these Vego Garden raised beds, a real upgrade from the wood bed and random pots I’d been growing vegetables in. The quality is excellent. The materials aren’t flimsy and the beds are sturdy and maintain their shape when filled with dirt. Assembly is tedious, but not a complete deal breaker. The first time ever assembling one took awhile, but now it takes me a little over an hour of continuous work to assemble one completely. Speed of assembly greatly increased when Vego switched to a nut design that had the washer already attached to it, versus having to put a separate washer and nut on each bolt. I think assembly would be easier if I had some sort of ratcheting wrench or even a drill with a socket attachment to tighten everything. Since I don’t, I use the tiny socket wrench enclosed with the parts kit, which is a tedious task. Each metal panel is wrapped on both sides with plastic that has to be removed, but once you get a corner pull started, the plastic rips off quickly. I’ve bought so many of these because they’re sturdy and I really like the olive green color. I think it makes my garden area look planned and intentional, versus thrown together. The major drawback is cost. There are other cheaper alternatives offered here on Amazon–but I think quality varies greatly according to reviews. I guess I’d rather pay more for something I know will last a long time, claims to be made of food safe materials, and won’t fall apart or rust– especially since I’m growing edible items in the beds.
