Finally Found a Personal Blender That Keeps Up With Me
I make smoothies and protein shakes pretty regularly so I was really excited to try this and it honestly impressed me more than I was expecting. I’ve owned a couple personal blenders before and this one feels much more powerful. It had no problem blending frozen fruit, ice, and thicker ingredients into a smooth consistency without leaving little chunks behind. My drinks came out creamy and smooth within seconds.

I also really appreciate everything that comes with it. Having both the 32 oz and 24 oz cups is convenient depending on what I’m making, and the flip-top travel lids are great for mornings when I’m in a hurry and want to take my smoothie with me. The cups feel durable and not cheap or flimsy.

One thing I really ended up loving was the little suction cups on the bottom. It keeps the blender from moving around on the counter while blending which makes it feel much more stable and secure, especially when blending ice or frozen fruit.

The gunmetal color gives it a really sleek look and it looks nice sitting on my kitchen counter without taking up too much space. I’ve already used it several times for smoothies, protein shakes, frozen coffee drinks, and even quick food prep. Cleanup has been super easy too which is a huge plus because I hate dealing with blenders that are difficult to wash.

Overall, I’m genuinely really happy with this blender. It works better than I expected, feels high quality, and makes making smoothies so much quicker and easier. Definitely feels worth the price to me.

    The perfect simple personal blende
    This thing is seriously impressive.

I already own a Ninja personal blender, so I wasn’t expecting to be wowed by another one, but this NutriBullet is better in pretty much every way.

First off, it’s super powerful. It blends frozen fruit, ice, protein powderall of it completely smooth. No weird chunks or blobs at all. My smoothies come out silky every time, and it only takes seconds. This definitely has not been my experience with my ninja blender. It is often leaving bits of this and that streaked up the side of the cup, and chunks of frozen fruit in the bottom.

This blender is also incredibly easy to use. Add ingredients, twist it on, blend, done. That’s it. If you are looking for a blender with settings, though, this isn’t the one for you. It’s incredibly simple. It has one 45 second cycle and that’s it. You can do it more than once, if necessary, but it doesn’t allow for any customization.

The cleanup is what really sold me, though. My Ninja always gets nasty buildup around the gasket, and it’s such a pain to keep clean. This one doesn’t seem to have that issue at all, which I really appreciate. A quick rinse and it’s basically clean.

It’s compact, powerful, easy to use, and easy to clean, which is exactly what I want in a personal blender. I’ve been really impressed with it and find myself reaching for it over my Ninja every time. Highly recommended!

    Fantastic Little Blender!
I love this blender so much. I’m a big fan of smoothies, shakes, and frozen drinks, so this is perfect, and a huge improvement over the one I’ve been using. It comes with two generously sized cups, a 32 oz and a 24 oz size, and the tops are cleverly designed with a carrying handle built in. And it comes with a complete and easy to use guide as well. For my first drink, I decided to make my classic coffee slushie. I placed the blender on my counter on top of a small silicone mat to keep it steady, and to cut the noise a bit. This is a powerful blender, and it is going to make some noise, but it is well worth it. In the smaller container, I placed a few frozen milk cubes, about a cup and a half of non-fat milk, one tablespoon of instant coffee, one tablespoon of pure cocoa powder, two tablespoons of golden sugar, and a splash of vanilla. I snapped the cup into the base and let it do its thing for about 30 seconds, which was plenty of time to pulverize the ice and whip the drink into a smooth frozen treat. I also tried the classic “nice cream” recipe – frozen banana slices, a splash of milk, two tablespoons full of cocoa powder, and a few tablespoons of sugar, along with a little bit of vanilla – in the 32 oz container, and it turned into a sweet creamy dessert in no time at all. I’m looking forward to trying all kinds of things in this, including nut butters and plant-based milks. These blenders are built to last, so expect years of use from this. It’s an awesome machine, and I highly recommend it.

Good size for an apartment, but a few quirks
The footprint is great for a small kitchen – one reasonably sized base and two cups. My one gripe: the taller cup doesn’t fit on the top rack of my dishwasher, so I’d have actually preferred two of the smaller size so both could go up top easily.

Heads up that this is a pretty bare-bones blender – no settings, no auto-pulse, just on when you press it down and continuous when you lock it in. If you’re blending frozen stuff, expect to do some work.

I’ve used it for crushing graham crackers and making smoothies so far. The graham crackers took a few tries – opening, breaking pieces apart, and reblending. Once there was less in the cup, shaking it around while it was running (not sure if that’s recommended!) helped move things into the blades. Same story with the smoothie – needed a good amount of liquid before it really got going, and some shaking helped.

Gets the job done, but be aware of the limitations going in.

Ten stars if I could!! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
I love love love my new personal blender! I have a home bakery and this comes in handy. I have the 1200 pro plus in our main home but had not decided what model for our second home (and my second bakery). I am so happy with this turbo 1000! I use it to make Dubai filling from scratch starting with nuts and ending with a buttery paste filling. I’m not trying to flex, just pointing out how incredibly powerful the blender needs to be to succeed as such a THICK task!

It’s unmatched durability in such a compact size, making it easy to travel with. And the cup size is perfect and so much better at small batches than using a full size blender or food processor. I also use it to blend freeze dried fruit into fruit powder. For such a light task, the bigger the container, the more problematic as the fruit is so light that using anything too large and powerful just sends it flying around without consistently coming into contact with any blades.

The noise level is decently loud but compared to a full sized blender, it’s much lower. Cleaning is easy, the cups are top reach dishwasher safe. For the blades, using a bottle brush to avoid potential cuts. And you can hold the fan still on the other side so the blades don’t just keep moving around as you brush it clean. Overall, an excellent product with a solid reputation and solid build.

Nutribullet Turbo has notable feature upgrades as their upper-mid-level personal blende
The Nutribullet Turbo Blender Model NB50400 has the power to churn through ice and frozen ingredients with ease. Nutribullet manufactures several blender models and this 1000-watt unit is a notable upgrade from their 900-watt blender, which I also own. With an impressive line of machines, Nutribullet has released this new model as an upper-to-mid-level unit in their product line of personal blenders. It is a newer model than the “Pro” line and falls just beneath their recently unveiled “Ultra” line, which are more powerful machines. But at 1000-watts, this blender is quite capable of handling almost any blending task.

This upper mid-range blender has a footprint of approximately 5 inches in diameter. This model is well-made with its heavy base and thick plastic containers. This model adds a 45-second automatic blend cycle, which older classic models lack. It also has a newer rapid extractor blade/cap assembly design similar to the high-end “Ultra” line but without the Ultra’s titanium blade coating and without the extended blade warranty of the Ultra. Inside the box there is a 1000-watt blender motor base with a two-prong plug, one extractor blade/cap assembly, a 32-ounce cup, a 24-ounce cup, two flip-top lids along with instructions and warranty information (one-year with an option for a three-year warranty extension).

Most important to know is, in less than 20 seconds, this machine easily turned a two cups of frozen fruit and some water into a delicious and healthy smoothie. Frozen or solid foods and ice are the litmus test for blenders and this model handles the task of liquefying those ingredients with ease. It’s important to have enough liquid to allow the blades to thoroughly churn the contents. There is a maximum fill line guide on each blender cup.

I also own the Nutribullet 900-watt blender and the Nutribullet Flex X McLaren portable blender. I use these machines daily for smoothies, shakes, soups and more, and they all get a solid workout in my kitchen. This blender is loud but the sound isn’t too disrupting. I keep a set of ear protection headphones nearby but they’re not really necessary for most people. Cleanup is easy and the parts are dishwasher safe, which is a huge plus with the amount of use my machines get.

The extractor blade/cap assembly of this unit is a new design and doesn’t fit the older Nutribullet models in the “Pro” line. A genuine Nutribullet replacement blade/cap assembly is available for purchase when/if necessary. The new blender base design has improved access for cleaning up any spills that may occur in the top of the motor base. That happens occasionally and may indicate a need for blade assembly replacement (or you just need to tighten the cap more).

Regarding the extractor blade assembly: This is a critical part of these blender machines and it’s important to clean and maintain the blades/cap for optimal performance; and also, to prevent the motor from overheating which could ruin it. Occasional blade/cap replacement is necessary. The company recommends blade/cap replacement every six months for the older “Pro” line models if used regularly. However, the new extractor blade assembly of this machine has a lengthier recommended blade life cycle of between 1-5 years, depending on usage. One note of caution though: The Nutribullet warranty stipulates using ONLY official Nutribullet parts. Using third-party replacement parts (and there are many out there) may void the warranty. Nutribullet actually number-codes their parts and customer service may ask for the part code if you ever require warranty service. That said, I have had very good experiences with Nutribullet customer service over the years that I believe attests to their sound customer support/satisfaction policies. When my two-year-old, 900-watt blender had a problem, Nutribullet customer service initially declined replacement since it was no longer under warranty. However, several weeks later, Nutribullet customer service contacted me and sent a new blender motor to me at no cost. That speaks volumes about a company that seems to understand the long-term implications of a customer’s opinion and overall satisfaction.

No appliance lasts forever and with daily, rigorous use of grinding frozen and solid food, any machine will be challenged. For comparative purposes, and as someone who has used small blenders for years, I can say that there are many less expensive personal blender brands out there. I have tried several of them and Nutribullet machines definitely last the longest. Overall, this model has some nice improvements over the former Pro line. With more power, the auto-timed 45-second cycle, and the improved extractor blade, this blender is a definite winner.

Great product! Simple to use and powerful
Kudos to Nutribullet for this update! In late 2024, I purchased a Nutribullet 600 watt personal blender. I loved it until the rubber gasket around the blade unit came off. It was not easy to get it back on and came off with the next use. As the blender was only 6 months old, I contacted the company and they sent a new blade assembly. The gasket came off that one, too. I purchased one more Nutribullet blade assembly and had the same problem. Although it worked without the gasket, I was concerned about leaking and put the blender up in the cupboard, never use it again.

When this turbo 1000 watt personal blender became available, I decided to give it a try, as I had found nothing that I liked as much as the previous Nutribullet. How wonderful to open the new product and find that the blade assembly has no rubber gasket! I have used it once, and am pleased with its performance. There were no leftover bits of frozen fruit or ice in the drink after the 45 minute run time. It is also very easy to use. Simply put the ingredients in the cup and twist the blade assembly onto the cup. Position the cup with blade on the motor base and turn it clockwise until it clicks and the blending cycle starts. It runs for 45 seconds and stops automatically. No buttons to push, no deciding when your drink is done; it’s all automatic. The cup comes off easily with a counterclockwise turn.

This Turbo Personal Blender comes with the motor base that has extra super-suction feet on the bottom, a 24 oz cup, a 32 oz cup, 2 to-go lids, and the blade assembly. Clean up is easy. Simply wipe the motor base clean with a damp cloth; rinse the blade assembly under running water and allow to air dry, and either hand wash or clean the cups in the dishwasher. If you use the dishwasher, they are top rack only, and don’t use the sanitizer cycle to prevent warping.

The blender is great the way it is, but I would like to see a couple additions to make it more comfortable for my personal tastes: 1) a smooth ring that twists onto the top of the cup for drinking from the cup. I don’t care to drink from most to-go lids. 2) a handle on the cup to make it easier to carry. I have small hands and it’s a bit difficult to keep hold of the cups. 3) Better yet , instead of creating new products, just modify the lid/handle accessory that my other Nutribullet had. I tried the one I still had on these cups, but the lid part would not screw on properly.

I have other Nutribullet products, and have always been pleased with their quality and performance. There was the blip with the last personal blender, but the company clearly identified the problem and corrected it. Don’t hesitate to buy this product!
