Perfect for family beach days
I bought this four-pack of oversized beach towels for our family vacation, and they exceeded all expectations. They are incredibly soft against the skin, even after multiple trips through the washing machine. The extra-large size offers plenty of room to stretch out comfortably on the sand. My favorite feature is how easily the sand shakes right off them, keeping our beach bags and car completely clean. Just keep in mind that they are best for lounging and light drying. If they absorb too much water, they can start to feel a bit like a heavy, wet blanket. However, having a full set where each towel is a different color is an absolute lifesaver. It completely stops the kids from fighting over whose towel is whose! Best of all, they are incredibly affordable at only about $12 each. I highly recommend picking these up for summer!
These are the softest towels I’ve ever purchased off of Amazon. A lot of times the pictures look like they are good quality but when you get them, they are not soft or plush. These are soft, plush and BIG. My only complaint is that they are too big to use as everyday towels but are perfect as beach towels… Which is what the are advertised as. I washed them immediately before using and did not see any noticeable fading. I’m not as good as folding as the professionals but I promise they are super plush. Also, I actually used one at the beach before reviewing so only 3 are pictured! There is 4 in the set. As a tip, if you use a tiny bit of vinegar, rather than softener, towels will actually absorb water and not attract dirt. You won’t be able to smell the vinegar after the wash. Softner produces a film that makes towels not absorb as well and collects dirt. Which isn’t ideal for a beach towel.
Surprisingly soft, fluffy and absorbe
I wasn’t sure what to expect when these towels arrived vacuum packed, but after one wash they completely exceeded my expectations. They fluffed up beautifully in the dryer and became incredibly soft to the touch.
What impressed me most was how absorbent they are. Some lightweight towels look nice but don’t actually dry you off very well. These do the opposite—they absorb water quickly and leave you feeling dry in no time. Despite being lightweight enough for travel, they perform more like a much heavier premium towel.
The size is fantastic as well. These are truly oversized towels that provide plenty of coverage whether you’re using them at the beach, pool, or after a shower. The colors are attractive and easy to distinguish from one another, making them great for families or guests.
Another pleasant surprise was how little lint they produced after washing. After the first trip through the washer and dryer, there was virtually nothing in the lint trap, which is unusual for new towels. They also maintained their softness and shape after laundering.
The combination of softness, absorbency, large size, and lightweight design makes these an excellent value. They feel much more luxurious than I expected and have quickly become our favorite towels. Highly recommended!
Large, idyllic beach towels.
The term oversized cannot be overstated. This is exactly what I was hoping for and these towels, in terms of size, do not disappoint.
The colors are fun and harken to beach days and nostalgia, so that’s a fun and comforting touch. I normally wouldn’t choose colors like these, brown and muted red, but they capture a beach towel vibe. Most likely that’s where I will use them, as the colors really deviate from anything presentable inside the home, at least for my preference.
The material is microfiber, and this is where I was most leery, as I generally prefer cotton, especially with a fabric that’s going to be absorbing liquid and making contact with skin. The microfiber material is actually duly beneficial, in that it feels soft and comforting, but is also superior in respect to durability. This is key, as towels like these will be ground into sand, exposed to salty water and stuffed into bags.
These are great towels and at about $10-11 a towel, seem like a worthy investment. If you are a fan of the colors, these towels would make a great addition to your home collection, as well as beach towels. I recommend them without reservation.
Out of the box these towels are impressive. They are packaged individually in vacuum sealed bags, but when opened they expand into very fluffy towels. The colors and design are nice and neutral, making them perfect for everyone. The towels have what appear to be white bias tape stitched with a wide stitch all around the edge, making for a clean finish along the perimeter, ending with a nice loop to hang the towel from. Although, I did notice in one of the towels that part of one edge is not tucked under the bias tape completely so I wonder if this will become an issue (see photo on gray towel). They are definitely oversized and much larger than your average beach towel. They are super soft, plush, and thick and even though they are microfiber, I didn’t experience the dragging feeling against my dry hands as I often do with other microfiber products. Between the size and the material, these could easily be mistaken for, or used as, a small throw blanket.
I do have mixed feelings on these towels. For starters, they are huge! As a larger woman, It’s really nice to be able to wrap the towel around me and actually be able to secure it and have it all the way around me. The large size is also nice to drape over a lounge chair or to spread out on the beach and have plenty of room. It’s a plus for me, however I can see where some wouldn’t like it as it is also thick and does take up a lot of space, and when it’s wet, it is heavier than your average towel. Even though my husband and I agree that this towel is very absorbent, he DIDN’T feel that it held a lot of water and felt it dried quickly whereas I felt that it DID hold a lot of water and got very heavy, taking a long time to dry. Perhaps it had something to do with my two piece swim suit and long hair absorbing more water than just his swim trunks, but we did have mixed feelings on the towel once it was wet.
Finally, a little on washing: The washing care tag is printed using symbols only. After looking them up and inquiring, I found the following: recommended 40 Celsius wash (warm water), do not bleach, medium heat iron, and dry cleaning is allowed, although I see no reason for ironing or dry cleaning. After the first wash, these towels looked and felt like they did out of the package; soft, fluffy, and velvety. After a few washes I noticed that the back side of the towel is starting to get more matted and the fibers look more clumpy (comparison photo of green and brown towels, although hard to see in the picture).
Overall, I’d recommend this towel if you’re not concerned about the size or convenience to pack. It is super soft and absorbent, but perhaps a bit too thick for some. If you’re looking for a nice throw blanket though, it’s great.

I received these gigantic beach towels very quickly, vacuum sealed separately and boxed well. All of the towels were in excellent condition and exactly as pictured and described.
First, I washed these towels in warm water with an extra rinse and dried them on medium heat. They came out of the dryer so soft and fluffy. Also, THE LINT TRAP IN MY DRYER HAD ZERO LINT in it. It really surprised me. All the towels I have ever bought has filled the lint trap on the first washing. Not these.
Second, they are huge! You could lay on these like a starfish at the beach. I wouldn’t for obvious reasons, but you could lol. I don’t know if they would hold sand or repel it at the beach, but it seems like you could shake them off easily. Be careful using on a small child, they could get lost lol.
Third, they dry you off so fast. You wrap this towel around you and it absorbs water so fast you’re dry before a second swipe. Ridiculously quick drying. Hair? I wrap this around my head while getting dressed and by the time I unwrap it my hair is only damp. I do have thinner hair but I imagine it would dry thicker hair really quick as well.
Overall, I absolutely love these towels! The material is light weight but dense enough to be super fluffy. The edging is sewn nice and evenly around the perimeter of the towel and there is a loop sewn into the side edge for hanging it up. This prevents it from falling off of the towel hook.
These towels feel like heaven wrapped around you right out of the shower and no cold draft is getting through it.
I am 5’7 and this towel hangs down almost to my ankles when I wrap it around me. These are my new spa feeling shower towels because they are far too cozy not to use daily and just sit on a shelf for later use.
Lastly, these towels are also a really good price for the quality. Just buy them. You won’t be sorry
