  • 【2K Close-Up View Around the Feeder】The built-in 2K camera is designed for close-up birdwatching around the feeder area, flower ports, and perching space. For the best view, hang the feeder level, face the camera toward open feeding space, and avoid strong backlight, walls, branches, or other obstructions near the lens.
  • 【2.4GHz WiFi Only for Outdoor Setup】This smart hummingbird feeder connects to 2.4GHz WiFi only and does not support 5GHz-only networks. For easier first-time pairing, fully charge the camera, connect near your router first, scan the QR code, then move the feeder outdoors within good WiFi range.

  • 【Drip-Resistant Design with Easy Nectar Care】The glass nectar bottle, sealing ring, and removable flower ports are designed to help reduce dripping when assembled correctly. Before hanging, check the gasket, tighten the bottle evenly, keep the feeder level, avoid overfilling, and refresh nectar regularly for a cleaner feeding experience.
  • 【Ant Moat, Motion Alerts & AI Bird ID】The built-in ant moat helps reduce crawling insects when filled with water before hanging. App motion alerts let you know when a bird arrives, while AI bird identification helps you learn more about visiting hummingbirds and make backyard birdwatching more
  • 【Solar-Assisted Power & Flexible Storage Options】The solar panel helps extend outdoor use between charges. Battery life may vary based on sunlight, WiFi strength, live viewing time, alerts, temperature, and weather. Live view is available in the app; video playback may require supported microSD or cloud storage depending on your storage choice.

  • Does this work with 5GHz Wi-Fi?

No. This hummingbird feeder with camera supports 2.4GHz Wi-Fi only. If your router combines 2.4GHz and 5GHz under one network name, please connect through the 2.4GHz band during setup.

  • Why is my feeder leaking?

Please check that the gasket is seated flat, the glass bottle is tightened evenly, the feeder is hanging level, and the nectar is not overfilled.

  • How do I prevent ants and wasps?

Fill the built-in ant moat with water before hanging, wipe away spilled nectar, and clean the feeder regularly. Outdoor nectar feeders may attract insects if nectar residue is left around the ports.

  • Why do I see a poor water quality alert?

The water quality reminder helps prompt regular nectar care. Sunlight, temperature, nectar residue, insects, and cleaning frequency may affect the alert.

  • Can I review recorded videos?

Live view is available in the app. Recorded video playback may require cloud storage or a compatible microSD card, depending on your selected storage method.

Great completely wireless hummingbird feeder + cam
I installed this on a wooden fence and am happy with how simple it was to get going since the unit is completely wireless for both power and data. I first charged the battery via USB so the solar panel only has to work to keep it topped up. Setup is similar to other standalone wifi IP cameras and requires the use of the mobile app.

The app is a bit barebones, but the essential features for streaming and local playback are working well. The camera is essentially a regular home surveillance cam, but with lenses that are designed to focus on nearby objects, since the birds will be right up close. More advanced cloud recording features require a subscription although you can stream and record to microSD at no cost. There doesn’t seem to be support for open protocols like RTSP so compatibility with third party apps or DVRs may be limited. For watching via the app it works perfectly.

The main part of the feeder is made of very thick and substantial feeling glass, which I’m impressed by. The other parts are plastic but everything seems well made and should fare well outdoors. I like that this feeder is specifically designed for hummingbirds, which are my favorite and fascinating to watch.

As is the case with all lithium devices, the solar panel will not be able to charge the battery much below freezing, meaning the battery will slowly discharge during winter so it might be better to store the feeder indoors or look into hardwiring the power.

This is a great little feeder and it can be a lot of fun seeing the various types of birds in your area stop by.

A beautiful smart hummingbird feeder with camera that works amazingly well.
I have a huge interest in birds, and we get a lot of birds to our home. I have several feeders set up and have a couple of these with cameras. I wanted one that I could use to attract hummingbirds, and I came across this one by MISTFORE.

The hummingbird feeder with camera arrived very nicely packaged in a giftable box. It comes with the glass feeder. It has a camera that can be directed to point at the feeding ports. There is a solar panel that charges the built-in battery.

The feeder comes with the stand and mounting hardware for the solar panel, as well as a hook for the feeder. There are also instructions, as well as additional feeding port flowers included.

To use this feeder, you can hang it from a tree and then put the solar panel up where it will get the most direct sunlight. It is recommended that you fully charge the feeder before putting it up.

You need to install the app “Hibirds,” which you can get by scanning the QR code in the manual.

Once the app is installed on your phone, you have to set up an account, then follow the instructions to add the feeder’s camera to the app. This worked flawlessly. You do need to connect to your Wi-Fi as well.

You can save the videos to a micro SD card that you must install (it is not included) or to the cloud. I prefer using an SD card since that lets me have the videos with me instead of on a server.

The images from the camera are very clear, and the feeder attracted a hummingbird within 1 hour of putting it up.

Another really cool feature is that the feeder sends a message to your phone when it is getting low on the sugar water. I have never seen this before.

The glass that holds the liquid is very solid and thick. It is beautifully done and looks like a work of art.

I am very happy with this smart hummingbird feeder. It works amazingly well, is easy to set up, and is very high quality.

I have seen other hummingbird feeders that are cheaply made and force you to save videos to the cloud. This one is so much better, and I do recommend it.

If you love hummingbirds, this is for you
This feeder was easy to assemble and the app was simple to install and configure. I like that the app detects when nectar is low and sends a notification. Some people have mentioned the subscription service. Considering this feeder really only attracts hummingbirds, I don’t see any need for AI identification or additional cloud storage – I can download anything really spectacular from the SD card. The camera appears to produce fairly decent images. The glass and plastic construction of this feeder feels very sturdy. There are seals on the bottle to prevent leakage. The front part of the feeder opens up for easy cleaning. Unlike traditional feeders, the nectar is contained to a small area under the feeding flowers, rather than filling the entire base. There is also a “moat” in the hook that can be filled with water to deter ants and other creepy crawlies from making their way into the feeder. The solar panel is super handy for keeping the camera charged and comes with everything required to mount. Overall, this appears to function exactly as advertised and would be a decent choice if you’re in the market for this particular type of feeder. Unfortunately I’ll have to wait until spring to put it out, but am really excited to give this new feeder a try.
