Great net, great value.
Great net, and the hardware that’s included is heavy-duty….Buy one! The only thing missing is a high-brow logo from another company that starts with an ‘S’ that I won’t mention here. 🙂
Good Net, Hopefully it Lasts
This knockoff net is less than half the price of the Fishpond, so my rating will certainly take that into account. I noticed that a couple of the loops on the net are not sewn on to the frame. I ordered 2 of these and it’s the same way on both nets. I hope I don’t have issues with this in the future. My biggest gripe is that the hole on the bottom of the handle is WAY too small to attach the included magnetic lanyard on to it. I had to buy a much larger key ring to attach to the handle in order to then attach the lanyard. Simple QC at the factory should have identified this issue, so I’m knocking 1 star off for that. Magnets on the lanyard are strong and hold well to my fly vest. Lightweight net overall and I don’t even feel it on my back while fishing.
The Perfect Trout Ne
After opening the packaging and handling the net for the first time, it’s apparent it’s very well made and a perfect size for both wading a trout steam or hiking along a trout stream. The rubber net is study and won’t tear easy. The magnet and lanyard will be extremely helpful when accessing the net from my backpack and the lanyard will allow for the net to be secured to my back. A perfect net that will be a used allot.
