This charger feels impressively sturdy right out of the box. The space black finish gives it a professional look that fits right in on a clean desk, and the overall construction has a premium weight to it that suggests it will last. Having 140W of total power across four USB C ports means it can handle a high end laptop and several peripherals at the same time without any noticeable drop in performance.
The live power display is the standout feature here because it takes the guesswork out of charging. It is helpful to see exactly how much power each device is drawing, especially when you are trying to figure out if a cable or device is bottlenecking the speed. Even though the price is a bit steep for a charging hub, the combination of high wattage output and the build quality makes it feel like a piece of equipment that belongs in a serious workspace rather than just another plastic power brick.
Compact Charger That Works Better Than Expected
This desktop charger ended up working better than I expected. I’m usually cautious with chargers that aren’t specifically certified for my devices, so I paid close attention while using this one. I charged both my phone and watch at the same time, and neither device overheated. They both charged fairly quickly, which was a pleasant surprise.
The charger comes with a stand and power cable, and it’s very compact, so it doesn’t take up much space on a desk or nightstand. It feels solid without being bulky or heavy, and the build quality seems good. Overall, it’s been a convenient way to charge multiple devices at once, and I’ve been happy with how it performs.
A powerful 4 port desk top charge
First I am not someone that knows all the tech stuff so I am writing this review as such. I have several different devices that have type C to type C charger and I travel a lot so it is a pain to carry all the cords and the blocks for things that need to be charged, and I am the type of person that likes to charge everything that I need to charge at night while I am sleeping so I know everything is good to go in the morning.
There is 4 type C ports for charging 4 different things at one time. This Desktop charger seems to charge at normal speed and I did not see any low/slow charging on any of my devices while I had all 4 ports being used. Not only is it space saving on your desk but also in your bag when you are on the go. This desktop charger does function as the sell states and I have using this for about 4 months at home and on the go and I have not had any types of issues.
1 minute display
The display goes into sleep mode and turns off after 1 minute. This can be good or bad depending on your use:
– It’s great if you keep the charger on the bed nightstand and don’t want any bright LEDs lighting up the room in the middle of the night.
– Not so good if your intended use is for continual power monitoring to see the power draw over time.
I would love this charger if it has configurability to set the screen timeout value for sleep mode (for example 10 min, 1 hour etc.), and if it had more ports with a mix of USB-A and USB-C (for example 2A ports and 4C ports, or 4+4).
Device supports four USC C devices at a maximum of 400 hundred watts cumulative.
Display activates when demand changes. Goes dark after a minute or so to limit distraction.
Compact and obviates the sprawl of power supply’s per device. Efficient , quiet, and effective GAN charger.
all rounded USB-C charger that is good for office and travel
The first thing that impressed me is the all paper packaging – the only imperfection is the inclusion of a small plastic bag containing 4 rubber pads and I think it can be completely eliminated. It is a kind of waste.
The product looks and feels premium. Solid design. Perhaps one suggestion is to support vertical display mode in addition to horizontal mode because the product can be kept vertically with the provided stand. Consider using aluminum stand for product improvement.
