Golden Review Award: 1 From Our UsersAwesome board!! Worth it!!
This paddle board is great! The color is pretty and I love that I don’t get the waffle marks on my legs while sitting on it! It’s got great stability and I love the fact that it has a dual paddle option and a single paddle option! I was impressed with how comfortable the seat was and how easy it was to paddle! I got multiple compliments on my board while on the lake and even convinced someone else to purchase it because of the seat! I’m excited to stand up on it on my next trip out! It was important to try the seat option first!

Golden Review Award: 7 From Our UsersBeginner perspective: a good value for a first SUP
    Pros:

    * Paddle is strong and gets big enough for a 6′ 1″ person I believe, but barely.

    * Fairly stable, I stood my first time out and didn’t fall in until my 2nd outing when I got more adventurous with manoeuvers.

    * Good grip even when wet.

    * Seems well built.

    * Backpack easily fits everything and has room for a adult large life jacket. Backpack is ok in terms of comfort. No complaints but could be improved. Great in terms of utility though, and has good zippers and buckels.

    * Accessories included are a nice touch and good value, especially the leash (good, comfy) and waterproof phone case, is nice to have.

    * Seat looks comfy but I haven’t used it yet.

    * GoPro/camera mount for me is awesome. I’ve used it 2x with good results.

    * Easily rolls back up after use to fit back in the backpack. Much easier than the inflatable kayaks I’m used to typically are.

    * I think the color and design is ok but not exciting. It looks good, just not very “cool” IMO.

    * Easy to transport and store. Fits easily in a car front seat or trunk/hatchback.

    * Much easier to dry and clean than a kayak.

    Cons:

    * Pumping it up after 5 PSI is pretty tiring. Gauge doesn’t work until it looks almost fully inflated btw, but does work. Get an electric pump. Keep the manual one just in case, but you won’t want to use it regularly, I promise.

    * Too much fun. It’s all I think about now. I’m sun burned and I can’t stop. (not a real con)

Golden Review Award: 4 From Our UsersGreat quality, light weight, excellent price point.
Well made and thoughtfully designed product. All parts fit inside sturdy carry bag, each part came individually packed in its own protective bag, some of which I will keep for parts storage. Sewing on the bag, straps and carry handles was sturdy, carry handles well placed.

SUP itself is very sturdy and stiff after inflation @ 10 psi, range is 10-15. All seams tight, centered and heavy duty. Accessory patches are well placed and look sturdy.

Accessories that came with the SUP include pump, waterproof phone case, convertable paddle, leash, 3 fins, seat and back. Other reviews mention missing leash, but it has on that is pretty good, very sturdy and double fold velcro to prevent leash from coming loose if you fell in the water.

Pump has a large diameter and pumps on up and down stroke, making inflation pretty quick. I have a very good battery powered air pump for my car, just ordered adaptor to use with the SUP for $6.

The included seat is quite comfortable and the back support is excellent, way better than the seats on my other kayaks ( I have 5)

Overall, the board is much lighter than my other kayaks, which were getting to be a hassle to transport and for my wifew tolift by herself.

Paddle is convertible from kayaking to stand up, with a length adjustment that is easy and positive. Its quite sturdy, I’m not clear why other comments mention it is flimsy.

Fins snap positively in the mounts, slide in clip prevents their coming out accidentally. I had no trouble removing or putting on.

I’m impressed by the quality and thoroughness of the product design and marvel at their being able to provide this at this price point.

Golden Review Award: 5 From Our UsersSweet spot of pricing, quality and features!
The Weekender Plus hit a lot of check boxes for me: the sweet spot in pricing, quality, and extra features. Set up and inflating was very intuitive – we bought a pair of them and it only took my wife and 10 minutes to get two fully ready to go. The kayak seat is so comfortable! The modular paddle is also really nice. The seat option really makes for a “soft transition” if, like us, you are new to stand up paddle boards. I liked that we could get out on the water, but not have to fully commit to only standing or kneeling. The boards were incredibly stable on the water (I’m 230lbs) and the included fins allow it to track really well! We predominantly used it in its kayak configuration for our maiden voyage, and they were a joy to paddle around in. Thanks Retrospec!!

Golden Review Award: 1 From Our UsersGreat transportable paddle board
Love this paddleboard! We use an electric pump to inflate it most of the way, then finish with the hand pump. It is sturdy and held up to two teenage girls trying to knock each other off. We have not tried it as a kayak yet, but love that as an option.

    Good quality and stable
I like it, i used it a few times in summer, quite difficult for me to pump it up, i need help from my husband. but once it is inflated, it is very rigid and good quality. No problem to have me and my daughter of 7 years old together (190lb). I have a hard time to have it 100% deflated, so i just fold it 3 folds and it takes quite a bit of storage space.

    Best paddle board, for travel.
It’s compact for easy, transporting and storage. It’s easy to inflate and to assemble. It’s very durable. I can take my children with me as can safely hold up to 300 lbs.

    Good value and performance
Bought it on Prime Day. Great value. Fairly easy to inflate and deflate (the final 20% of inflation pumps require some strength to complete). We left them inflated for a week and had no loss of pressure. Board is lighter to carry than some other inflatable boards. Once on the water, no complaints at all.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersStable and well-made!
I was comparing this board to one twice it’s Price.— I’m so glad I went with this one.! we ended up buying two because we were so pleased with it. This board was stable enough that I had not one but two dogs on it! My 45 pound labrador as well as my 20 pound terrier. I absolutely love the inflatable seat.— we were paddling on 40 water and being able to sit down and paddle it like a kayak was amazing. The tracking is true they pack back up into the backpacks easily.. we did purchase a compressor so I cannot tell you about the hand pump. Took less than 10 minutes to inflate.

We were on a popular SUP spot and I had several people ask about our boards. They seem incredibly well-made and durable.. I am 135 pounds and my husband is 185 pounds.. we are both delighted with our new boards!

Solid board, easy to transport and setup
We are a bunch of novices and this is our first experience with a iSUP. It packed away in the carry bag fairly easily and was easy to assemble. We didn’t read any instructions and managed to get it inflated and the fins on. The pump worked ok, it did the job I’m in under 10 min. The paddle assembled quickly and was easy to adjust. The board felt firm and strong, with grippy material and bungee cords on top. Once we got it on the water my daughter, who has some experience, had the first go. She felt a bit unsteady and needed some time to get used to compared to the other boards she used previously.

I had a try and found it an odd experience because I am used to canoes and keeping a low centre of gravity. I got on my feet and managed to stay upright although it took a lot of effort and minor correction to keep balance.

Overall pretty happy with the board and the kids had fun riding on it. We will see about the long term longevity- that will really cement the 5 star rating for me. So far it seems to be made well and performing as expected. Now it is up to us to get our skills up and have fun doing so!
