Golden Review Award: 9 From Our UsersBeen playing a lot of records on this unit since I got it- I think it was a good buy.
I’ve been really happy with this Retrolife turntable. I’d picked it because a review said it had a good sound quality in relation to other models, and they were right. It does have a good speaker on it’s own. It’s also got the AV ports to connect it to my component stero which extends the sound quality.

I like the bluetooth speaker, it works well and has a decent range. I would like to have the bluetooth work both ways so I could play records to the phone- small gripe. It is an inexpensive option to connect my phone through to my home stero system.

I’ve been using this unit quite a bit, it’s relatively durable- well made.

The plyer does have a hard stop when it reaches as far as it’s arm will go, that’s where the record ends! It would be nice to be able to play the rest of the record in some instances- bit of a nitpick.

I do quite like tthis unit, it’s got a great sound for a small portable speaker.

Golden Review Award: 5 From Our UsersNot bad. Looks great and very portable.
Works pretty good. Not like a Pioneer 4-channel sound, but it is what it is. I say ditch the issued record player needle because it is inferior and invest 7-10 bucks in a better set of needles. Easy to do. Just snap it in place after removing the old needle on the cartridge.

I plugged in a pair of computer speakers with an rca cord set. That way I control bass and tones. It can really be a great listening experience from those old LPs. Without the added speakers and w/issued needle it sounds like a tin can with a waxed string. But buff it up and its very pleasing.

Great for playing tunes off my PCs music library. Very good sound. if enhanced. Easily stored when not in use.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersGreat compact record player at a great price.
Great compact record player at a great price. Ready to go right out of the box. Seems to be well constructed but mostly plastic materials. I found some old 78 rpm records at a consignment shop and purchased this specifically to play those. It did well regarding this task. The volume gets to a moderately loud level when turned up all the way. No complaints there. Please note that the Auto Off setting does not mean auto return. this is not a high end turn table. Auto off just turns the table rotation off at a position the device presumes the record is finished. It is not an accurate setting but does work to end play if you are not near the device to remove the needle from the record. when not set to Auto Off, the needle will on the record and the table will continue to rotate giving you that continual click and pop of the finishing grooves on the record (Not good for the life of the stylus). Be prepared to either stop play yourself or for a song to end several seconds early on longer recordings depending on which setting you choose.

The power supply is a power transformer block from 110-120v input to 5v output. It would be a nice feature if there was an option for battery operation for more portable play.

All in all, this is a great value for a functional product and I would recommend it for anyone looking for something to sever the purpose of casual record play. I chose it strictly for 78rpm capability as my high-end turn table will only play 33 1/3 or 45 rpm speeds.

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersHighly recommend great investment bang for your buck
It’s gotta cool feature where when you use the arm riser hover over to position which track you wanna listen to instead of starting in the beginning say second or third or fourth song, you hover above and it auto downshifts after you release the arm, that’s so unique and cool feature from other reviewers which i just noticed myself after easy setup w/o reading the manual i can pretty much setup anything besides furnitures like thats complicated and stuff, but this connects to bluetooth called “VINTAGE TURNTABLE” just click to connect from your smartphone and it works like a charm comes with three cables, Audio, Aux and adapter that plugs effortlessly into the back and the carrying case is cool too. Just don’t knock it around otherwise the timing belt will come undone and you have to take it apart and align it like my last vinyl machine which i am glad i fixed, but i decided to donate to the next person and get this one which came the next day super speedy time as i was w/o a turntable. Highly recommend this as a gift as well maybe in a black would be super cool as i gotten the turquoise bc it was the cheapest! I love the retro look to it!
