Reviewing a mirror is a slightly strange exercise because, at its core, the job description is remarkably straightforward: it should reflect things. I’m happy to report that this mirror performs that function admirably. Every time I look into it, there I am. Success!
What I do appreciate most about this mirror is its simplicity. The black frame is clean and understated, and doesn’t try too hard to make a dramatic design statement. If you’re looking for something ornate or decorative, this isn’t your mirror. If, on the other hand, you want something that can blend into almost any style of decor without drawing attention to itself, it’s a most excellent choice.
I ordered the 30″ x 20″ version of this mirror, which I think is a good size for a smaller space. In my guest bathroom, it feels appropriately scaled and doesn’t overwhelm the room. In a large master bath or expansive entryway, I might consider one of the larger sizes, but for compact spaces this size works well.
Perhaps my biggest surprise, honestly, was that this arrived in perfect condition. Shipping a large sheet of glass across the country feels a little like tempting fate, so I was prepared for the possibility of opening the box to discover an unfortunate jigsaw puzzle. Thankfully, the packaging did its job, and the mirror arrived intact.
At the end of the day, this is a simple, attractive, well-made mirror that does exactly what it promises. Sometimes that’s all you really want.
Simply elega
Getting my house ready to list for sale and needed something to replace some hanging personal items that wouldn’t show well. Not only did this simple, elgant mirror fit the space perfectly, but it made the space appear bigger in the process. The quality is solid, and the final install hugs close to the wall.
Very impressed with the manufacturer’s packaging, as it delivered without damage. Installation was easy, and I actually used the included hardware. All I added to the process was a level and a screwdriver.
If you are looking for a simple design in basic black (that goes with just about everything), this mirror is an excellent value and recommended.
Nice quality glass
This is a very nice and clear mirror. Not all mirrors are created equal. I compared it to a couple of other mirrors I have and can details much better. Its super lightweight and has a streamlined, sleek minimalist design but looks good in any setting. The price is definitely fair. I liked it so much I got the oval mirror! It can be hung horizontally or vertically as there are holes for both plus they include hardware for installation.
This mirror was exactly what I was looking for during a bathroom update. The black metal frame has a clean, modern look without being overly bulky, and the glass provides a very clear reflection with no noticeable distortion. Once mounted, it felt solid and the included hardware made installation pretty straightforward. I also like that it can be hung either horizontally or vertically depending on the space.
