We’ve been giving our front porch a fresh, welcoming update, starting with landscaping and vibrant red geraniums in black pots for a pop of color. We’ve had our Adirondack chairs and glider for a couple of years, but wanted to add more color and comfort. When I spotted this cushion, the beautiful colors, glowing reviews, water resistance, and durability won me over, and I knew it would pair perfectly with my black seating. My glider is 4 feet wide, so I initially ordered a 48-inch cushion, only to realize the seat actually measures 43 inches and needed a smaller size. I returned the unopened 48-inch and received the 40-inch within two days—great customer service! Though the new one seemed slightly fluffed, it was still like new with crisp, unused tie strings. I’m thrilled with the look and quality, and the colors really stand out. Red cushions for the chairs are on the way, and I can’t wait to see the porch project completed. Highly recommend!

Okay, so first things first. You MUST let the cushion air out and give it time to fluff up! If you pull it out of the box expecting it to be full, that’s not going to happen. Is it 5″ thick? Well I’ve had it hung over the back of our swing for 48 hours now and it’s a LOT fuller than when it was all compressed, so ‘technically’ it’s 5″, but that is fluffing it up and not sitting on it. I would say it’s probably closer to 4 inches, but it feels really nice to the touch. The orange is a gorgeous color, especially for summer – very vibrant and I love it!! As for measuring, here is the tricky part….my swing actually measured 66 inches, but I was unable to find a cushion in that width, the closest I came was 63″ or this one at 70″. I figured the worst case would be that it would be a bit too big and would squish the ends slightly. In fact, it actually fit PERFECTLY! I was so happy about this, but I’m including that in my review because the difference between my measurement and this cushion was 4 inches, which isn’t a lot, however, the fact that this cushion fit, tells me that the sizing is a tad smaller than stated in description. It was a very happy result though, so I’m not complaining! The cushion does what it should – makes for a colorful, comfortable replacement cushion for your swing or bench. I thought the price was fair, the quality seems excellent (I checked it for any rips or loose threads and it is in perfect condition!). My old cushion was completely done and truth be told, it was maybe 3 inches thick, so I’m looking forward to sitting on this one – it seems to have plenty of filling and is soft to the touch. As for wrinkles, well of COURSE it’s going to have wrinkles, it’s been sealed and compressed for who knows how long….but if you have a bit of patience and allow it to just hang and air out for a couple of days, you will find that the majority of wrinkles go away. Hope this helps others in making their choice. I would definitely recommend this cushion, it’s great quality and a fair price, shipping was a breeze (receive it in 48 hours with Prime) and I’m looking forward to many afternoons and evenings swinging to my hearts content in comfort!! I would buy this one again – 100%!!
Nice cushion, comfortable, as described.
Purchased this late summer, so have only used it for a few weeks. So far, it seems to be well made, stitching appears good and tie strings attached well. The color I chose and appearance is as pictured. The only reason for 4 stars instead of 5, is while the cushion is in fact the described 5 inches, it is a very soft 5 inches. It is not 5 inches of firm foam. Because I placed my cushion on an old outdoor wrought iron sofa that has wrought iron bottom rods 6 inches apart, I am required to place a piece of firm foam cushion at the bottom. If the seat of your swing/sofa is more solid, this will not be an issue.
