I am really blown away by the quality of this musical instrument set! The instruments are very solid and well constructed, especially the ukulele. The hardware is actually metal like a real guitar— it’s totally legit. This is solidly constructed and is going to be durable and last. At this price point, this is an exceptional value!!! Plus, you get a whole bunch of other musical instruments, too. The maracas, the tambourine, and the metal percussion instrument all sound very good like adult versions of these instruments. The xylophone sounds more like a “baby version,” but that is to be expected. I also love the look and colors of this set. It has a very natural, wooden toy vibe, which I value over plastic junky toys. I highly recommend this musical set, and if you can get it at the coupon price it is a STEAL. I wouldn’t think twice about this snagging this!

Each instrument does work OK....
Well our grand kids came over to try out the musical instruments. The xylophone does work but doesn’t play loud at all which isn’t a bad thing LOL.
The clapper that you play between your knee and hand is so so….
The recorder does blow and after 20 minutes of playing from my 5 year old grandson I was wishing it would stop but it does work….
The maracas do work well with a pleasing ching ching sound to keep rhythm which was nice.
The one thing I didn’t like was the guitar which has 4 strings that are supposed to be able to tune it.
The strings do get tuned kinda but I really couldn’t tune it to what it should.
Everything is of a cheaper quality that’s why you get so many instruments in one package.
But the guitar is really something a kid can just strum on if they don’t care how it sounds when strumming.
All in all these are cheaper quality but I give it 4 stars as it is something for most everyone who wants to get started making music (after a fashion)
Great assortment of instruments for the kids.
So we got this great kids guitar set 81 toddler musical instruments to try. There’s like eight different musical instruments for the kids to play with. Let me say they love it. This is the perfect all in one set when you don’t want to spend a lot of money, but you want your kids to be able to play musical instruments and feel creative or just go to the grandparents house and make noise. This fulfills that requirement, and then some. These are some well crafted, good looking kids musical instruments. They look to be pretty durable. They should last a long time. I especially love the baby ukulele. You can actually play a tune on it. They’re well constructed they look great and they make noise. And my kids love them. What an amazing value, depends on who you ask lol.
An Outstanding, High-Quality, Set of Instruments That Will Please The Young (and Old)
We are such fans of this musical instrument set! When we opened the box, and started picking up each instrument, we were instantly impressed with the quality – each one weighed more, and felt better, than we had expected. This set is so well-made, it should stand the test of time, being passed from your children to your grandchildren.
Here are our takeaways from each instrument:
– The Handbells: Consisting of 5 bells, this is made of metal and wood. Both children and adults can comfortably hold them.
– The Harmonica: Made of wood and plastic, it produces an authentic harmonica sound and is a favorite!
– The Xylophone: Made of metal and wood, this is a crowd-pleaser! It is beautiful, produces excellent sound and is tons of fun to play!
– The Recorder: Made of wood, this is the NICEST recorder I’ve ever seen. It was immediately a hit with our children.
– The Maraca: Made of wood, this makes a great sound – we only wish there were two .
– The Tambourine: Made of wood, metal and plastic, it is light and easy to play for little ones.
– The Guitar: Made of wood and plastic, this 4 string guitar is tunable, ultra-light and is the star of the show. An instructional sheet is included, showing how to tune it, as well.
– The Castinet Clapper: Made of wood, this produces a nice, authentic sound.
Overall, this is a worthwhile investment, especially if you have more than one child. It is an enjoyable, wholesome way to spend time together and learn a little about music, and instruments, along the way.
