Perfect for large cutting crafts!
This thing is ENORMOUS!!!! I do a ton of crafting and have the A3 size cutting mat, and I love it. I saw this and NEEDED it! Not really but who wouldn’t want a 3 foot wide cutting mat. If you are a crafter, this is a must and looks so good on a large craft table. It is durable just like any cutting mat. Numbers are easy to ready. It does come rolled, so it will need to be laid on the opposite side to unroll and flatten itself. It is also heavy! I love it. I am so happy with it. I highly suggest this product if you do heavy crafting and want to protect your tables.
A must-have for large scale crafting
As the listing notes, this mat arrives rolled. And because it’s a large mat, it’s a bit of a wrestling match to get it to unroll. Per the listing’s directions, I laid the mat on my basement floor and put weight all around the edges. Although the directions said the mat would flatten overnight, which it did to a surprising degree, I found it still had a curl at the edges. I flipped it over and let the weight of the mat itself press down on those edges. After 48 hours, the mat was ready to use. And it’s big! I didn’t pay too much attention to the measurements, I just knew I needed a new, big mat. This will be great for those larger cutting projects like squaring up a quilt.
One side of the mat has measurements in centimeters while the other side is inches. The mat functions just as you would expect. It is easy to measure and cut fabric using a rotary cutter.
Of note, the mat arrived in an interior box placed inside a larger Amazon box. The interior box
Is clearly marked, ‘Part of a set. Do not separate.’ I do not know what the set was but all I received is the mat, so clearly whatever the set was, it did get separated.
