Wheel spacers
These are very easy to install. I got these for my son and he was able to install without help. He has been riding around with them for two weeks now and loves them. The fit was perfect for the vehicle I entered and was compatible with his Chevy Silverado. They look great and the material seems like it is very durable.
Man these are a quality spacer! They went on super easy with my daughter helping me. They fit very well and have a good looking offset for my mostly stock Jeep JKU. They are not too wide so I did not notice much of a difference while driving.
I got the folding trailer from Harbor Freight to haul my motorcycle. For around town, it was fine as is. But I wanted to be able to take it on long trips, and the wheels it came with were not really rated for that weight and speed. So I got some bigger wheels, but then they came too close to rubbing on the suspension bolts – there was about 1/4″ of clearance with the trailer unloaded. So I got these spacers, and they worked perfectly to push the wheels out just enough. As others have stated, the lug nuts it comes with feel cheap and weak, so I got better ones. Once installed, I towed the bike and trailer from Texas to Georgia and back, and they held up perfectly.
Spacers are definitely worth what you pay for, I had not retightened them after 5 miles like the manual says so, I know it was dumb of me but I did not do it because I am of short of time because of work and completely forgot about retightening them and now I have to buy new brake rotors but that’s beside the point. The Wheel spacers didn’t crack and none of the studs even look like they’re stressed at all. I’m extremely surprised at the quality, and how well they hold up. They fit perfect for my 1988 Chevrolet s10 Tahoe, no problems or anything with installation, just make sure to retighten them after 5 or so miles, and you should be good. The only concern I had with the spacers is that the lug nuts stick out just a tad further and it doesn’t allow me to put the hub cap back on, other than that it’s perfect.
Fit Well
Its fit well on my Mustang 2020, I have stock rims and rims have small cutouts which fitted the nuts/studs.
over a month in use and no issues noticed, 0 vibration 0 tire issues.
Works on Harbor Freight 4X8 "Heavy Duty" Traile
Harbor Freight (HFT) sells a 4X8′ (48X96″) “Heavy Duty” trailer kit (5 Lug Tires). It’s just the frame only and the owner is responsible for fabricating sides (if they want). However, to have a true 4X8′ internal dimension (for transporting plywood/sheetrock), the sides would have to stick outside of the frame (inline with the side pockets). This can cause potential issues with the tires hitting (rubbing against) the fender under load and causing the tires to shred.
These spacers move the wheels out approx 1″ giving enough clearance. I don’t want to go any wider as it will put more stress on the hub
The material is made from aluminum with pressed in zinc coated studs. Note the HFT trailer uses metric whereas these spacers come with 1/2-20 (SAW) studs pressed in. You can use the stock lug nuts from the trailer to secure the spacer to the hub.
You might have to grind the studs on the hub (NOT THE SPACER) as they will stick past the surface of the spacer. For the price of these spacers it was worth the labor to me (Angle grinder with 60 grit pads). You can find similar spacers that are thicker that would prevent this. Besides that, the installation went very well.
