Nespresso Up Coffee Make
New edition of our favorite coffee maker. The white matches with our coffee bar. Makes hot coffee fast. I still haven’t seen the need to use the wifi on this coffee maker.
A pricey update because our existing machine was working fine but what a difference!
Super quiet and starts a lot quicker. I’m sure the coffee tastes nicer too because the water color has more consonant coffee color throughout the cycle.
Oh and no splashing either, nice steady flow of water.

We had a vertuoPlus for 6 years and whilst going strong we were looking something a little modern looking. That said, we miss the auto open/close feature that has been removed with subsequent models. The open/close feature in the Up model is manual, but better than its recent predecessors. Relatively easy to open. Thank goodness ‘do your own’ volume feature is still available where you can adjust how much water for each pod type. Once set, it’s good unless you accidentally loose power.
It is slimmer , which reduced the pod collection bucket. The sound of the motor is kinda loud, liken to an airplane engine! We think it makes more foam! Quality is still good and no dripping and hence less cleaning of tray. We finally found a decent replacement for our old Plus.
I bought this to upgrade from a Nespresso Virtuo Pop that I had for about a year. What an upgrade! I love the larger water reservoir and used cup holder. I paired my phone to it and I love that I can access all the info from my phone. I decided to run a clean cycle last week. Easy peasy with the app. Also having the option to increase the heat of the water is a plus. So far, no complaints at all. I don’t find it to be any noiser than the Pop, actually less so. And as many others have said, that short heat to brew time is great.
WORTH EVERY DOLLAR SPENT! I was tired of paying for $5-$12 coffees that were mostly creamer. The coffee pods are a little pricey but the coffee is amazing. Easy to use. And very quiet.
