Excellent Upgrade for Laser Engraving and Cutting
I ordered this Mroy Mio Honeycomb Working Table through the Vine program for use with my laser engraver, and it has been a worthwhile upgrade. The 400mm x 400mm size provides plenty of workspace for a variety of engraving and cutting projects while fitting nicely within my machine’s work area.
The aluminum honeycomb design allows for excellent airflow and heat dissipation, which helps reduce scorching and improves cutting performance. I noticed cleaner cuts and less residue on the underside of materials compared to working directly on a solid surface.
The included table-protecting plate is a great addition, helping shield the work surface beneath the honeycomb bed from laser exposure and debris. The overall construction feels sturdy and well-made, with a flat, stable surface that supports materials evenly.
Setup was simple, and it worked well with both engraving and cutting projects. It’s especially useful for wood, acrylic, leather, and other common laser materials.

Excellent honeycomb bed with accessories

This is a well made, quality honeycomb bed – also well protected and packaged to survive its delivery adventure.
Exterior dimensions are the stated 400x400mm (about 15 3/4″) with an interior honeycomb area of 14″x14″. The frame is securely riveted and feels sturdy. The honeycomb area has four metal rods to add strength and secure the honeycomb portion in place. The measurement printing is clear and easy to read with the black and white contrast.
Also included are:
8 silicone corner bumpers
8 plastic honeycomb pins
10 aluminum test pieces (5 raw and 5 anodized blue)
2 stainless (polished finish) dog tag pendants
2 Kraft papers and the 4 corner protectors
and an aluminum “waste board” plate to use under the honeycomb to protect your base/bottom work surface
The bed itself does exactly what it is supposed to do – promote air movement and help prevent scorching of your material. It is well made and I fully expect it to last for years. If you have never used one, you will notice a positive difference in your projects.
Overall, I have zero complaints and would suggest this as one of your choices (if not the choice) if you are in the market for one. The added items (especially the waste board) are not a cheap throw in to make up for a cheap product – they are true value added items with a purpose.

This is a not a table, but a working platform for quick heat dissipation. It has thoughtful design and is easy to use. The honeycomb structure greatly helps to dissipate heat quickly and improve working results. The metal protection plate is great for the underlying table surface. Overall, it is a great laser engraver accessory that improves performance and makes laser projects cleaner and more efficient. This is a great addition for laser users. The price seems a little on the higher end.
Durable, strong, works well, nice features
I’ve been very pleased with the Mroy honeycomb plate. It does exactly what it’s designed to do and has quickly become an essential part of our laser engraving setup. The aluminum construction feels surprisingly strong and sturdy, with no flexing or warping even after extended use. It fits our machine and provides a stable, reliable work surface for both engraving and cutting projects.
One of the biggest improvements I noticed was the reduction in scorch marks and residue on the underside of materials. The honeycomb design allows for excellent airflow to keep air moving and also keep smoke from pooling, which helps produce cleaner cuts and smoother finished pieces. The included table-protecting plate is also a nice addition, giving extra peace of mind that the workbench underneath stays protected.
My teenage son volunteers at a library makerspace and spends a lot of time working on maker-style projects, and he has used this kid of bed for everything from custom wood signs to acrylic prototypes. During a weekend project where he tried this one out, he commented on how much easier material alignment was thanks to the measuring scales around the edges, saving him time and reducing trial-and-error positioning. I wouldn’t have recognized that benefit right away, since I mostly use it for things I don’t need to line up that way, but he really appreciates it!
CLeanup is simple, and the overall build quality suggests it will last for years. If you need a durable, well-made honeycomb laser bed that performs as advertised, this is an excellent choice.
