When this air fryer arrived, I was looking forward to trying it out. It is the perfect size for cooking for 2 people. I have used the tray and the basket so far. The sides of the unit remained cool enough to touch, so less chance of burns. It works so well that I packed up my smaller air fryer and gave it to a single family member.
I like that this product houses actual words rather than pictures so I know where the settings are for air fry, bake, broil, etc.
The timer is similar to a basic egg timer that only goes “ding.” But then it shuts itself off, so no over cooking.
I like that I can cook meals quicker and easier without heating up the kitchen oven.
It would be helpful if it had a light inside to see what is cooking and how done it looks. Otherwise, I like this product.

Dials instead of digital, large capacity, attractive and compact, cooks well
I guess I’m old school, born in mid-1900’s, but I like the fact that there are dial knobs to set the functions as opposed to digital devices controllers. It is so easy to read and twist to correct setting instead of cycling through several steps on one digital screen. There is a red light to tell you the unit is still operating. Multiple shelf levels on the interior for different cooking needs. I first tried a 9″ frozen pizza that came out just right. I will use a shelf liner next time as some of the crust stuck to the rack but was easily removed on first dishwasher cycle. I then air fried breaded okra, yes, I love it, and it was placed on a paper liner to contain crumbs. The big window allows visual inspection of the food, but a handy flashlight may be needed as there is no interior light. I’m very pleased with this unit and will set it up next to our Ninja air-fryer as we have a need for two devices at the same time very frequently. It is replacing our pop-up toaster as well. Easy to clean with the drip trat, though I have been warned not to cook items that splatter as the interior will need to be cleaned as well. Enjoying this unit very much. Comes with a decent manual, but get an air-fryer cookbook for your cooking needs.
I ordered and received the Midea Air Fryer in the 12.7qt size. This is a very nice looking air fryer with beautiful stainless steel construction and finish. One of the first things that stands out to me is that this little oven actually goes to a higher temperature than my previous air fryer did. Instead of stalling at 400, this awesome appliance goes to 450 degrees. That’s the main reason why it does so much more than the average air fryer. This one can Air Fry, Toast, Pizza, Broil, Bake, and Reheat. Some hints. You do want to read and follow the instructions about heating it up for 15 minutes to burn off excess oil (before using it to cook). Make sure you have plenty of ventilation. I set off my smoke detector the first time. After that, everything was fine and my detector didn’t react any longer. This is a very simple, easy to use machine as well. The only downside is that it is hard to dial in something lower than 4 minutes. The dial isn’t as responsive as say, digitally pressing in numbers. It’s hard to tell if you’re going to get a 2 minute piece of toast or a 4 minute one, as well as the bell sometimes not going off (when it’s set under 5 minutes). I’d say this is priced just right for it’s size and everything it does. I would definitely recommend to a friend.
Easy to follow instructions in multiple languages. Modern looking air fryer toaster oven. Oven door opens easily and fits well on smaller counter space with 4 secure rubber nonskid tips on the 1 inch high plastic feet so that the oven won’t accidentally slide onto you or the floor- a great safety feature. Comes with a drip pan, air fry basket, wire rack, and cooking pan, all which fit perfectly in the oven itself. The air fryer basket and the rack are a snug and secure fit so they won’t accidentally slide onto the floor – another great safety feature. There are clear instruction how to clean the oven safely and it’s really easy to do so. The oven heats up really quickly and it evenly cooks the food. The dial knobs are easy to move, including temperature knob, functions knob, and time knob. You have to move the timer past 10 minutes and then back to less than 10 minutes if you’re cooking less than 10 minutes in the oven – this is detailed in the instructions. I love the window so you can see how well your food items are cooking during the process. It does plug into a two prong outlet, which gives you more options of where to place it in your kitchen if you don’t have many three prong outlets available. The inner components are made a great quality materials so you don’t have to worry about what is entering your food as it’s cooking. Great value for the money!
