Beautiful artist storage box that makes a wonderful gift for young artists
I purchased this MEEDEN artist storage box as a gift for a young artist, and it’s a very impressive and thoughtful art supply organizer.

The solid beech wood construction gives it a high-quality look and feel that stands out compared to basic plastic storage cases.

The 3-tier design provides plenty of organized space for art supplies like pencils, markers, brushes, erasers, pastels, and other creative tools.

I especially liked the removable dividers, which make it easy to customize sections depending on the type of supplies being stored.

The box has a classic artist studio appearance that feels inspiring and special for someone developing their creativity and artistic interests.

It also works well as both functional storage and decorative display, especially for desks, craft areas, or art stations.

For a young artist, this feels like a more meaningful and “grown-up” gift that encourages organization and creativity at the same time.

The carrying handle and overall layout make it practical for transporting supplies or keeping everything neatly contained.

For gift appeal, this definitely feels premium and makes a memorable present for birthdays, holidays, or art-focused milestones.

Overall, this is a beautiful and well-designed artist storage box that combines organization, durability, and presentation into a thoughtful gift for aspiring artists.

Highly recommend. Will never use a utility cart agai
Until I came across these, I’d been using utility carts which tend to be terrible in the long run when they start to get weight in them. I can’t tell you how many times I’ve broken the leg off of one of those with my art supplies. I actually have bamboo organizers for my alcohol markers and this beechwood looks very nice next to these organizers. Meeden actually offers many styles. I own one of the 3 drawer storage supply boxes, and a 1 drawer that’s about as thick as the 3 drawer. They stack beautifully together. They have an extra piece of wood on top to ensure there aren’t any gaps when you stack them. I’ll include a picture of the my set stacked so you can see them. I can’t recommend these enough. They are great for pens, pencils, and even paint markers. You can use them to hold art supplies like erasers and pallets knives or paint brushes. They have so many different uses. The dividers are removable so you can customize the space to fit your needs. The wood is thick and smooth. It’s very nice next. They are a more durable solution to utility carts and look a lot nicer in my opinion. This product is one of those things you don’t really know you need until you have it and then you wonder why you didn’t get it sooner. It’s a great value for the money for sure.

The fronts are held on with 8 thin metal single staples and glue.
MEEDEN Artist Storage Supply Box: 3-Tier Solid Beech Wood for Artist Supplies with Removable Dividers-Tool Storage Organizer Case for Brushes, Pastels, Pencils, Erasers

First impressions: Nice heavy thick wood cabinet with 3 drawers. The drawers are made of thick material as well and have a sponge lining. The drawers are divided with removable wooden dividers. The box has dovetail connections to keep it together, but the fronts are held on with thin metal single staples and glue. The drawers slide easily and the boxes stack, held in place with wooden pieces that fit with another unit, sold separately.

Installation/setup: Use to store your pens, pencils, brushes, etc. while you’re not using them.

Final thoughts: The boxes come in different configurations, 3 drawers, one larger drawer, etc. I got the three drawer set and a single drawer set. The boxes stack well, but unfortunately, while this set was in perfect condition the single drawer’s front was broken off and cracked on delivery and I can’t use it as intended. I am saddened that I can’t use it well and the crack is very noticeable. I like this 3 drawer set and I’m glad I got it. The other, not so much and I would return it for replacement if I could.

1 star – I don’t recommend it at all, poor quality.

2 stars – I don’t recommend it, it has multiple faults, or a very high price.

3 stars – It’s passable, It has some faults but the quality is ok for what it is.

4 stars – Product quite acceptable, it does what it promises.

5 stars – Product that I totally recommend.

    Soooo impressed with Meeden!
Great storage box but I was hoping the drawers wood be deeper. It will hold my bamboo markers on top. This 3 drawer box is made with quality wood and is sturdy. It’s well made and will divide my pastels and neocolor ii. Each drawer is lined with foam to protect everything from breaking.

Excellent Wooden Drawer System for Pastels and Pencils
I have a set of wooden three-drawer art boxes that I bought about 10 years ago. Still good, still useful, so I never thought to replace them. Along comes this Meeden one, and it’s so much better. The wood is solid, not wobbly. It feels like real wood, not thin cheap stuff. It even smells nice. It’s got pieces on the top so that the drawers are easily and securely stackable. Once stacked, they won’t easily slide apart, even when fully loaded. The drawers aren’t deep, so these will only comfortably hold full-sized pencils or pastels, or items of similar thickness. Even with the dividers removed, you’re still limited to fairly flat objects. I’m using mine for oil pastels and can fit 15-18 per row.

The wood is finely polished and incredibly smooth to the touch, with nicely rounded corners and zero rough edges. The drawers glide out smoothly with solid wood built-in handles, and you can actually pull each drawer completely out of the frame. This is a huge plus because it lets you bring a whole tray of pastels or pencils right over to your creative workstation and then quickly slide it back in when you are done tidying up.

Inside, each drawer comes lined with a nice layer of foam padding, which is fantastic for protecting delicate items like soft pastels or charcoal from banging around and breaking. The four removable dividers in each section are easy to adjust, giving you the flexibility to customize the compartment sizes based on what you are storing or to open up the space completely. It keeps everything beautifully organized and within arm’s reach on a desk or studio table, making it a very functional, durable, and attractive helper for managing everyday art supplies. I definitely want more.

Excellent quality and has versatility in the use.
I happen to owns a few others of these drawers, made by other manufacturers. The Meeden drawers tho, while they have few drawers per unit (Meeden’s are 3 and others are from 4 to 5), Meeden’s drawers are much better quality. The other drawers are not consistent in their design. The drawers are not interchangeable. They are also all stacking. Meeden’s seem to be the only ones that truly stack and interlock. The others just rest upon each other and sometimes shift unexpectedly.

But the biggest difference are the drawers themselves. With Meeden, each drawer is customizable. The dividers and be removed, as well as the foam cushion. All my other drawers have dividers that are firmly in place and not one of them come with a foam cushion. That cushion makes is perfect for things such as soft pastels. I don’t use soft pastels, but I am absolutely contemplating on using this drawer for my oil pastels. It would be nice to have them on hand. Where they are now in order for me to use them, I have to go across the room, get my folding stool and dig them out of a very deep cabinet.

I am in the middle of a studio redo because it issues such as that. I like to keep the things I often use (or would like to often use) with a reach. Nothing destroys a creative flow more than digging for supplies. But back to the Meeden supply drawer. Although Meeden may be a little more than other items of similar design, Meeden is a brand that I trust and one that I go back to time and time again. Knowing that I am getting good quality is important to me. I can’t afford to replace something just because of poor craftsmanship. I’d rather spend more money on something that I know is going to last.
