Maxmango brand model D70 48MP Pink Underwater Kids Camera - a sturdy fun choice
Labeled model D70 on the box, this WaterProof Camera ( see photo ) is great for squeals of delight during everyday kids use, as well as for adults wanting some good underwater stills or video while snorkelling. I find that I could not be happier with the thoughtful design, build quality, excellent value at price point and overall performance. Recommended.

From my observations, I can confirm that the Camera features; a 2.8″ (7cm) diagonal LCD screen size with 4:3 aspect ratio; 1/4″ CMOS photo sensor with HD video resolution and 48MP still resolution; 18X digital zoom; 114g lightweight and compact measuring 5.3″ (13.4cm) x 4.8″ (12.3cm) x 2.6″ (6.7cm); lithium ion battery rechargeable with the supplied USB cable connected to a common user-supplied 5V 1A power supply, good for up to 1.5 hours usage; 32GB SD card included; the highest IP68 Ingress Protection rating good to as much as 10 ft (3m) water depth.

Tough as old boots for the kids
Item received in good condition in a small branded box. Last Sunday we took the twins down to the bay and, for once, I did not spend the whole time worrying about my phone ending up in the sea. Each of them had a Maxmango D50 gripped in sticky hands, shouting “cheese” at crabs, gulls, and the poor dog. The pink shell is almost fluorescent against the grey pebbles, so when a breaker stole one camera we spotted it straight away and fished it out before another child claimed it as treasure.

The body is wrapped in chunky silicone and the buttons are big enough for little thumbs to find without fuss. The two-inch screen is hardly cinematic but it is bright even in midday glare. According to the leaflet the seals keep water out down to three metres; we only managed knee-deep paddling, yet plenty of splashes landed on it and the thing just carried on.

Image quality is better than I expected from a toy-looking gadget. In sunlight the colours look lively and you can actually make out facial expressions rather than vague blobs. Indoors it is a different story. The tiny sensor struggles and everything turns speckly unless you park the children next to a lamp. I also wish the company had moved to USB-C, as the micro USB lead feels ancient and charging from empty takes the best part of two hours.

Durability, though, is where the D50 earns its place in our beach bag. It has already bounced off the patio, survived an accidental kick across the lounge, and endured a slobbery inspection by the Labrador, all without a single crack. The included 32 GB card swallows hundreds of little masterpieces and the built-in battery lasts around an hour and a half of near-constant recording, which is plenty for small attention spans.

If you need a first camera for children who will not treat it gently, this one is hard to argue with. Strong shell, fool-proof controls, surprisingly cheerful daylight photos, and no need to buy extras before you start.

    Fun beginner underwater camera
This Maxmango D50 has been a great addition to our traveling kit. We took it snorkeling and was surprised how well it held up underwater. There were no leaks and the footage was impressively sharp. Having two screens is super handy for selfies or checking shots on the go. The buttons are easy to use even with wet hands. The battery lasted long enough for a full afternoon at the beach, and the 32GB storage was more than enough. It’s lightweight, feels durable, and the design looks rugged but fun. Overall, it’s a solid, practical camera for outdoor adventures. I would

recommend it for vacation or water activities. Best of all, it’s affordable so if anything happens to it or it gets lost, it’s not the end of the world.

I’ve knocked off 1 Star because the listing is now for a different camera, the D70. This is not the product that I reviewed.

    Waterproof Camera for Family Fun!
I got the MaxMango Kids Camera underwater camera for a beach vacation, and it was a fantastic addition to our trip. The camera works perfectly for its purpose. it’s easy to use, durable, and truly waterproof. We took it snorkeling and swimming, and the 10 ft. depth rating was more than enough for casual underwater fun with the kids. The floating feature is a great peace-of-mind bonus, ensuring it won’t sink if dropped.

The camera quality is perfectly fine for casual snapshots and vacation memories. Photos and videos came out clear and colorful in good lighting, especially underwater. It’s not a professional camera, but for capturing moments in the pool or at the beach, it does the job well. Having the 32GB SD card included was a huge plus ready to use right out of the box.

The dual screens make selfies easy and fun, both above and below the water. It’s lightweight, compact, and very user-friendly, even for my kids. For an affordable, worry-free camera that lets you capture memories where phones can’t go, this is an excellent choice.
