Chalkboard
Works pretty well for what it is. The adhesive sticks firmly to smooth surfaces, and it gives a nice chalkboard finish for notes and reminders. The magnetic hold is light—good for paper or small items, but not anything heavy. Easy to cut and apply, but you have to smooth it carefully to avoid bubbles. Overall a useful DIY product for organizing or decorating.
LOVE this stickon chalkboard!
I orderd this stickon magnetic chalkboard for my kitchen. My previous kitchen I had painted all of the cabinets in chalkboard paint, and we really miss this feature. I used this adhesive chalkboard on my french door refrigerator, and it looks amazing. I didn’t even lose the magnetic features of my fridge, because this chalkboard is also magnetic. I love how smoothly this adhesive chalkboard went on, and I had zero issues with bubbles. The material is a thick, magnetic vinyl type, and it is definitely very high quality. This chalkboard is smaller than I was hoping for, but it ended up being perfect for the fridge (the side without the icemaker). This also comes with cool colored chalk, a holder (that curiously only holds 3 of the 6 included chalk sticks), some small magnets, and two erasing cloths.
Overall, I have been extremely impressed with this adhesive chalkboard, and love the fact that it was so easy to put on and that it’s also magnetic. I most definitely recommend it to others!
Perfect learning and drawing space for kids
This peel and stick magnetic chalkboard is a really fun and practical addition to our space. I set it up on the wall for my kids to use as both a doodle board and a practice board for schoolwork and it has worked out great.
The size is nice and large which gives them plenty of room to write draw and play. It comes with several pieces of encased chalk in different colors which I really like because they are easier to hold and less likely to break compared to regular chalk.
A microfiber cloth is also included for cleaning. I found that it works best when slightly damp since the chalk does not erase as cleanly with a dry cloth.
Installation was quick and easy and the adhesive held well once applied. My toddler enjoys drawing pictures on it while my older kids use it for practicing schoolwork and playing learning games.
Overall this has been a very useful and engaging addition to our homeschool setup and gets used daily.
I wasn’t expecting much in terms of adhesion or strong magnetism, but I would have to say, I’m really loving this!
It was very easy to apply, not nearly as thick as I thought it would be, really only a little thicker than standard peel and stick wallpaper.
The size is a huge advantage – so much room to keep everything organized and leaves room for many different subjects.
I must admit, I totally forgot this came with all the extras, like the multicolored twisty chalk pens, eraser cloth, magnetic storage, and magnets.
The pens are bright, easy to write with, and erase cleanly. The soft cleaning cloth has a loop for easy storage.
The chalkboard is JUST strong enough to hold up the chalk storage, and the only thing I would change would be enough room to store ALL six pieces of chalk, slightly annoying that only three fit. I understand why it was done, as the magnet isn’t strong enough to hold all six, but that would be a nice change.
overall, very pleased with this and how well it has remained stuck to the wall!
Easy to install, quick to erase
I bought this magnetic adhesive-backed chalkboard for my backyard bar. I wanted something that was easy to apply and would erase quickly. So far, it seems to be just the thing! Installation was quick and easy, and while I’m a bit worried about continued adhesion, I will be adding a frame around the edges to keep the whole thing in place. I did put this up on rough plywood- on a smoother surface I would not be worried at all. The included chalk crayons (texture of an oil pastel) and magnetic holder were a really nice touch.
Good chalkboard, wish magnetic properties were stronge
Depending on your needs, this adhesive chalkboard mat could be perfect, or just okay. Overall it does what is advertised – it’s adhesive and can be stuck to most flat surfaces without issue (I’d caution against sticking it to painted walls as I suspect in the long term that would cause issues being removed). It has magnetic propertied and can hold small, lightweight magnets. It includes some “chalk” crayons that write nicely and opague, and wipe away with a damp cloth (and a magnetic container but that container can only fit half of them. What I really like about this chalkboard is that it’s very easy to cut to size, so if you want multiple smaller pieces to fit on furniture etc then that’s very easy to do. I was playing around with using them on the side of my work desk.
My primary complaint is that the chalkboard is heavily labeled as being magnetic, when it can’t hold much more than the included light, plastic magnets. Included are some pushpin-styled magnets, but they can’t hold up anything thicker or larger than a post-it note. If you’re sticking this to an already-magnetic surface (like a refrigerator) then this might not be a problem.
As an online teacher, I’m always looking for simple tools that help keep my lessons and daily tasks organized, and this magnetic chalkboard paper has been a useful addition to my workspace.
The magnetic surface is also useful. I use this to keep track of lesson reminders, schedules, and to jot down quick notes during the day. I have also used the magnetic pins to hold important papers and important reminders so I don’t lose them.
Writing on it feels similar to a traditional chalkboard when using either regular chalk or the ‘chalk markers’ that come with this ‘chalkboard’. They do show up clear. It wipes clean easily with no ghosting IF YOU USE WATER. If you just use the dry micro-fiber cloth it won’t fully erase.
Installation was pretty straightforward. I did have someone help me line it up to avoid bubbles, which I’d recommend, especially for larger pieces. Once it’s up, it stays in place well and hasn’t peeled off yet.
I also like that it can be cut to fit your space. That made it easy to customize it for my teaching area, and I’m considering adding another section for a weekly schedule or planning.
