Good Glow But Pricey for One
This low voltage landscape well light with 5 color temperatures is nice for outdoor pathways or patios. The aluminum build feels solid, IP67 waterproof, and the anti glare design gives a soft, even light without blinding spots. I like being able to switch between warm 2700K for cozy to cooler 5000K for brighter. It’s 3W but 170LM is decent for accent lighting.

Installation takes time though. Digging the hole, wiring to low voltage system, burying the cable. Worth it for the look once in, but not quick.

The light itself is good quality, but around $60 for just one feels too much. If it came in a multi pack it’d be better value.

Overall, nice addition if you want adjustable colors and durable in ground lighting. Just pricey per unit.

Easy to install, great spread of ligh
I was replacing a light that was about 18″ tall, but kept getting knocked over, so I already had power run. This was simple to install, and provides light exactly where I want it. I’ve had it installed for over 6 months with no issues.

    Nice quality low voltage lights
I’m really happy with this lowvoltage light for my walkway. It was very easy to install, and it actually illuminates a larger portion of the path than I expected—I was surprised by how much brightness it added.

There have been a couple of minor hiccups. Every now and then it will turn on or off by itself, though it doesn’t happen often enough to be a real issue. I did see it change colors once on its own, but that only happened a single time.

Aside from that, it’s wellpriced, works great, and adds plenty of visibility. I’m planning to pick up a few more so the entire walkway has consistent lighting.

Started with a single test, it is doing great so I'm adding more.
I got a single one of these to see how it does over winter. So far it is doing GREAT! It is 5 temperature. The listing says 5 colour, but it is really 5 different white light temperatures with the middle one being the one that you, and everyone else in the world will choose.

It is very bright for a 12V 3W light. It worked perfectly with my 12V landscape lighting transformers no real notes.

It comes with cable clips, which seems to be something that is happening less and less with landscape lights.

Great quality, decent value, and easy to install. I’m happy with the light these case from the grass beside my walkway into the walkway itself, so I absolutely recommend them. I am going to order 10 to line my driveway in spring.

    A premium walkway light.
I received the Varmtalys 5 Colors Landscape Well Light, LED Low Voltage Ground Light through the Amazon Vine review program.

The ground mount case is made of thick plastic, while the light housing itself appears to be solid aluminum. The finish is a rich, neutral dark brown with a beautiful powder coat that feels premium. The light output is bright and projects mainly sideways—great for walkways or paths. It also gives off some upward diffusion, that could work nicely for garden lighting as well.

A great feature is the ability to choose the color temperature during installation. There’s a small button on the bottom of the fixture that lets you make this selection. You can still adjust it after installation, though you’ll need to lift the light out of the plastic housing ground to access the button.

The entire assembly weighs about 296 grams. The ground case measures roughly 7 cm in diameter, and the top of the light is about 7.7 cm across.

Included are low-voltage tap connectors. The metal inside appears to be stainless steel or a similar alloy. They might not be fully waterproof, but should hold up fine.

Overall, this well light feels like a premium product—both in build quality and performance.

A Very Useful Low Voltage Well Light For Your Garde
This is a low-voltage wall light. It has five separate color temperatures and is waterproof and IP67-certified. The five separate temperatures are 2700 Kelvin, 3000 Kelvin, 3500 Kelvin, 4000 Kelvin, and 5 Kelvin. This is a very solid build; it is heavy-duty and uses high-quality, lightweight aluminum that will last.

The light operates on 12 V. That’s an LED start-to-top landscape light designed for a pathway or a deck. It can be placed literally in the ground. Each of these lights produces 170 lm

They’ll operate in a voltage range of 9 V to 17 V AC or DC

I like low-voltage outdoor lights because they’re safer outdoors. You’re dealing with wet conditions, and if you have a light adjacent to a pathway and you get a good bit of rain or water, and let’s say, for example, the pathway floods, if you had an 110 V light adjacent to it lighting the pathway and it flooded, I would be apprehensive. There may be some dangerous electrical shock in the water. With 12 V lighting, you don’t have to worry about that. People don’t even feel a 12 V shock until the amperage gets very high.

When my children were little, I wanted to make certain that they’d be safe from many types of electrical shocks. That’s why I always insisted on having outdoor low-voltage wiring that I could do myself on the weekends. I didn’t have to worry about hiring an electrician. I could run the low-voltage lines myself, and they don’t have to be buried as deep as higher-voltage lines. Most of the time, I just cover them with box shields and connect all the lights I want to light up the bases of trees, which is beautiful, or to light up pathways; there are many uses for this type of light.

Promising landscape lights with great color options, waiting for spring install
I bought these landscape well lights during winter, so I haven’t installed them yet, but I wanted to share my first impressions because the quality looks very good. I plan to install them in the spring along the pathway and patio area.

Build quality is solid. The aluminum housing feels sturdy and well finished, and the IP67 rating gives confidence they will handle rain and outdoor conditions without issues. The wiring looks clean and robust, not thin or fragile.

One thing I really like is the 5 color temperature options. Being able to choose between 2700K up to 5000K is a big plus, depending on the mood you want—warm for the patio, cooler for walkways. The anti-glare design also looks well thought out, so the light should be subtle and not harsh.

They are low voltage 12V, which is exactly what I wanted for outdoor landscape lighting, and the size is compact but still powerful enough at 3W. Everything needed for installation seems straightforward.

So far, very good first impression. If they perform as well as they look once installed in the spring, these will be an excellent addition to my outdoor lighting setup.

Bright Landscape Light With Multiple Color Options
This is a very good quality landscape light that I suspect many users would enjoy having for their home landscape lighting setup. The kit includes a high quality landscape light with metal housing, cylindrical holder, and all you need to do is supply the power.

The things I like about this particular light include:

    1) Input voltage versatility – It offers you an input voltage range of 12-24 volts, so it should be easily integrated into existing landscape lighting setups. In my case, I had an existing 24 volt driver that I wanted to use with this, and it’s nice that it was compatible, saving money and time from having to purchase a separate 12 volt driver.

    2) You get the choice of a number of different colour temperatures, from 2700k to 5000k, (warm white to cool white), which allows you to tailor the light output to your particular setup. Changing colour temperature is easily accomplished by pressing the button on the bottom of the light and the fixture cycles through the different colour settings.

    3) The housing is hefty and well made – durable, and I suspect it will easily handle exterior use for a number of years, and it is also well sealed from water intrusion, which is equally important.

    4) The light output is excellent – bright and clear. You’ll have no trouble illuminating or highlighting whatever area of your landscaping or home you’d like to have brightened up at night. A few of these lights along a pathway would easily create a beautiful nightscape on your property.

Overall I think this is an excellent landscape light. It has all the right features, including a durable housing, selectable colour range, 12-24 voltage input, and CSA certification. You can’t go wrong with this landscape light.

High-quality well lights with adjustable color temperatures and durable constructio
These low-voltage well lights are an excellent choice for adding subtle, professional-looking landscape lighting. The ability to choose between five color temperatures is a standout feature, making it easy to match existing outdoor fixtures or create the exact ambiance you want, from a warm, inviting glow to bright daylight illumination. The all-aluminum housing feels solid and well made, and the waterproof provides confidence that these fixtures are built to withstand rain, irrigation, and changing weather conditions throughout the year. The turret top design effectively directs light where it’s needed while minimizing glare, producing attractive accent lighting without shining directly into your eyes. Installation is straightforward with the included connectors, making it easy to integrate into an existing 12V landscape lighting system. The low-voltage design also provides added peace of mind around children and pets while delivering efficient illumination. Despite the compact size, the output is ideal for highlighting walkways, patios, decks, garden beds, trees, or architectural features. The oil-rubbed bronze finish blends nicely into most landscape designs during the day and virtually disappears at night. Overall, these are well-designed landscape lights that combine durable construction, flexible color temperature selection, simple installation, and attractive lighting performance, making them an excellent upgrade for almost any outdoor lighting project.

Golden Review Award: 6 From Our UsersGood physical features, needs an anchor spike, throws ALOT of background light, Great warrantee
I like many features this light has and I believe its construction will result in durability. Its outer base is plastic and for acidic soil (Arizona desert) it won’t disintegrate. The interior lens portion is sealed metal and it can be adjusted by rotating it within the base. The sales photos are misleading (showing a contained fan of light on the pavement) because as others have mentioned this light is very bright. I was disappointed initially, that it displayed a lot of background ambient light. I wanted a contained pathway beam and found this one throws so much light, it actually will dimly cover the entire side of a house. I was planning on using 4 fixtures on this project but two were plenty! I was surprise how wide an area was illuminated considering how small the lense surface is. Beware this fixture throws a lot of light, It’s not a spot light, it’s a flood light!

Another built in feature this product has is the adjustable lumens level, so you can tone the brightness and match other low voltage lights you may have already pre-existing in your yard. Plus it’s a way to dim down the excess light.

This product would be even better if the manufacture would consider adding an anchor spike for more stability mounting it in the ground. With landscaping in the desert, the top couple of inches are loose gravel rock and this does not allow much dirt below to anchor it. I found a simple and cheap remedy by using 1/2″ PVC schedule 40 piping and related parts to make a 6″ spike thats impervious to acid soil eating it away (like some cheaper metal anchors). Refer to attached photo. Works great for cheap

Wished the bulb was replaceable but it does have an additional a 5 yr warrantee? Overall this seems to be a great product and time will tell about the durability. I wanted something a bit different, not just a light on a stick and always having to avoid walking into, something more concealed in the daylight and discreet. Hope this helps for those not sure

On 05-24-25 ADDDITIONAL EDIT: This company is great with their warrantee replacement service. Yes one of the 6, I bought began flickering and I notified the supplier. After some basic verification info they shipped out a new replacement immediately ! Hint: use the one line contact, a quick response than leaving a voice message ! very happy so fa
