Like every Lovevery product, this set is amazing. It’s so well thought out! It teaches your child the beginner fundamentals with math/numbers. Ie not just counting/numbers, but what it means. Which is important to understand addition and subtraction. Perfect for the intended Pre-K/K age group.
The set makes learning fun and will keep your child engaged.
Obviously everything in the set is very well made and high quality, like every other Lovevery product. So excited about this one!!
Engaging Intro to Math
My 5-year-old has thoroughly enjoyed the LOVEVERY Math Skill Set. The activities are thoughtfully designed to keep young children engaged while building foundational math skills through hands-on learning. The games are easy to follow, age-appropriate, and encourage active participation. My child looks forward to each activity, and I have already noticed a significant increase in confidence with counting, number recognition, and early problem-solving skills. This has been an excellent resource for making learning both fun and meaningful.
I love Lovevery, and used to have their subscription during the first year of my baby’s life. It’s truly a remarkable brand and I have never been disappointed in their products. This Math Skill Set is another example of the craftsmanship and innovation.
I was able to successfully introduce some of the games from this Lovevery Math Skill Set, to my 2-year-old even though it’s labeled for 3+, and it has been such a wonderful addition to our playtime. The quality is excellent — everything feels sturdy, thoughtfully designed, and beautifully made with natural materials.
What surprised me most is how successfully we’ve been able to use several of the games and activities with a 2-year-old. The Spatial Game, for example, has been a perfect little challenge that keeps her engaged without being frustrating. The activities are genuinely enriching and stimulating, covering topics that feel so relevant and exciting at this age — planets, counting games like Count On Cafe, and more. There’s so much thoughtful knowledge packed into this set.
I really appreciate that it comes with a clear manual that explains each activity, plus free access to their app with even more ideas and extensions. It makes it easy to get the most out of the set and adapt activities as she grows.
Yes, it’s an investment, but I truly believe it’s worth every dollar. The value is there in the quality, the depth of learning, and how much my daughter is enjoying (and learning from) these games. The packaging is another highlight — everything comes in a big, beautiful box with smaller boxes inside that make unboxing feel special and fun every time we bring it out.
There’s no getting around the price. This is an expensive preschool math kit. That said, if you’re familiar with Lovevery products, the pricing is pretty much in line with the rest of their offerings. Whether that’s worth it depends on how much value you place on the curriculum, the manufacturing quality, and the brand.
What impressed me most was the sheer amount of content packed into the box. It weighs almost 20 lbs! There are multiple games, activity boards, books, manipulatives, counting exercises, pattern activities, and hands-on learning tools. It doesn’t feel like a toy with a few educational pieces thrown in. It feels more like a structured learning system designed to be worked through over time.
The materials are very well made, the presentation is excellent, and the activities are thoughtfully designed. I especially liked that many of the concepts are taught through play rather than worksheets. The included storybooks also do a nice job of connecting math concepts to everyday situations.
For my son’s family, this is exactly the kind of educational product they look for with my granddaughters. They appreciate the guidance, structure, and confidence that comes with a well-known educational brand. If you’re that type of parent, you’ll probably be very happy with it.
The value question is really the only question. If you’re comfortable with the price, there’s a tremendous amount of material here. If you’re shopping strictly on dollars and cents, there are certainly less expensive ways to teach the same concepts. The quality and organization are excellent, but you’re definitely paying a premium for the complete Lovevery experience.
WOW - so many included items!
I couldn’t believe how heavy this box was when it arrived! I knew it was a ‘set’ but the sheer amount of games and books included is incredible! My kids dug *right* in and wanted to investigate and explore every single game and book. My oldest are twins, about to turn 4 in a week, and so although they can count and recognize numbers, they’re not quite yet at the point of doing basic addition or subtraction. Enter this kit – which really takes the approach of teaching kids in a unique, and more importantly, FUN, way! With one of the books especially, they are understanding the concept of addition without realizing they’re mastering more advanced math skills! It’s simply exciting and fun for them, and their little brains are making connections and understanding concepts that are laying incredible foundations for them to be ahead of the curve and excel at math. I am so, so pleased, and we’ve even been playing the games as families. As an added bonus, the kits are so adorable and include the cutest pieces. It’s helping to teach my kids to pick up/stay organized so that none of the pieces of their precious games are lost. Loving that as a mom!!
We’ve been buying Lovevery since my daughter was born, and their toys have been one of my favorite parts of her childhood. Getting a new Play Kit in the mail every few months was such a big deal. She would get so excited to open the box and see what was inside. Years later we still use many of those toys in our toy rotation, and she still loves them.
That’s why I was so excited to see Lovevery continue into the Pre-K and Kindergarten years with this Math Skill Set. My daughter is in Pre-K, and we’ve just started exploring it together. It’s been fun seeing which activities she immediately clicks with and which ones challenge her in a good way.
One thing that’s been awesome is how interested my older child is in it too. My preteen has been helping his little sister with the games, and it’s been really sweet watching them learn and play together. Lovevery has always had a way of creating toys that seem to pull kids in, no matter their age. Even when the toys are technically designed for one stage, older siblings always seem to want to join in.
The set comes with books, games, hands-on activities, and a guide for parents. There are so many different ways to play that it doesn’t feel repetitive. I can already tell this is something we’ll be pulling out for a long time instead of something that gets used a handful of times and forgotten.
The quality is what I’ve come to expect from Lovevery. Everything feels sturdy, thoughtfully made, and built to last. I also appreciate that the activities are backed by child development research and created with input from experts who understand how children learn.

Another excellent product from LOVEVERY.
LOVEVERY is hands down our favorite baby/toddler Montessori toy company, and my wife and I subscribe to their play kits and have gifted their products to our friends and family of little ones, too. We’ve paid happily full price for many of their products and they’re well worth it. So when we get the privilege of being able to order these at a substantial discount we can genuinely express how we feel about their products at their subscription price.
This set, like all their other learning sets is thoughtfully designed, durable, developmentally appropriate, and more engaging than typical flashcard learning.
We really liked that it introduces early math concepts through play instead of making it feel like our little one is in a classroom. The games and activities build on each other nicely, and the books help apply math to real life scenarios. This was something I always wanted when I was in school, to see how academic concepts apply to every day life. It just helped me understand better, and I think that this style of toys paired with the books help do just that.
I’ll break down a list of pros and cons below. But this is one of those rare products that I am reviewing where I don’t really have anything negative, or critical, to say.
Pros:
– Top end quality/design, which I expect out of LOVEVERY
– Real life application/Montessori approach to math
– Good combination of high quality toys and books
– Covers a wide variety of topics including counting, quantity, addition/subtraction, shapes, space, measurement, and patterns
– Makes math fun for kids
– Great for a wide age range of kids, I could see this being helpful for kids as young as 3 and up
– Durable, I’m sure this will last for many kids once we’re done using it for ours
Cons:
– I guess I’ll point out the obvious and say it is on the expensive side? But in this case you’re absolutely getting what you pay for. I can’t really critique anything about this set.
This is a top of the line product and a great way to get your little ones to be interested in math. 5/5. Highly recommended!
