Very nice. Seams are all straight, no stitching issues. Cotton material is a bit light to touch, but it’s for a guest bedroom.
Bought dark gray and it’s a nice deep gray with no blue or purple undertones.
Longevity? It says it is machine washable but not machine dryable? My educated guess is that is to avoid shrinking. But I bought a king size for a queen bed so I have plenty of fabric. Besides, I like the pucker that happens when cotton quilting is washed and dried. Adds texture, especially when you have solid colors.
It is definitely light weight so a blanket will be needed in the winter.
This was my third attempt on Amazon to find the cotton summer weight quilt that I’d love. Well, third time IS a charm. This is cotton (no sweaty synthetics for me). Yes, I realize the batting is a combo of cotton and poly, but what touches my skin is pure cotton. Additionally, this truly is an oversize comforter on my king size bed. I have both a box spring and a mattress on top of the frame and this creates a wonderful drape with neither myself or my husband fighting for the covers. I was reluctant to order white though it’s what I wantedthe idea of always laundering it was not appealing. However, it has been much easier to maintain than I would have thought. It is easily dressed up or down and doesn’t have that too girly look to appeal to both of us. And it was just under $50! Win, win! Get it, you will love it.
