I’m thrilled with the outcome of this purchase. I have a 7 month old beagle. He would get carsick and drool during any and all rides. I saw a suggestion to raise the dog so he can see out the window and so I purchased this seat. He loves it!
I introduced it to him in the house. He played in it, and with it, for a day. He seemed to like it immediately as he promptly loaded it with a toy and bully sticks. This was yesterday.
Today I put it in the passenger seat of my pickup and loaded him in the seat. It comes with 3 straps which makes the seat and dog secure. I used one strap (a clip at both ends) to go around the headrest. It clips to the seat back, a clip on each side of the back. The other two straps are leashes for the dog. I attached him to the seat.
We went to the post office and back, about six miles round trip.
Instead of my dog being a drooly, drippy mess in the truck he was happy and excited. He looked all around. He would have been all over the cab but the leashes kept him in place. It was a wonderful change.
My beagle is a small one but the seat provides plenty of height to allow him to look out. He seemed comfortable in his new seat.
So far I am thrilled with my purchase. I can finally take my dog somewhere without making him sick. If it doesn’t hold up I’ll come back and update. The beagle seems happy with the purchase, also.
It’s really nice quality. The cushion cover is washable and comes out brand new. The seat cushion is memory foam and very supportive for your pet. It’s easy to secure in your vehicle. My only complaint is the strap that attaches to your pets harness could be positioned in a better spot. Overall it’s a good buy for the price.

My two rescue dogs have car anxiety. The dog seats help them feel safe and secure.
I love these high quality seats. The seats are not small. They take up quite a bit of room in the back seat of my medium sized SUV. They can be adjusted side-to-side a little. Normally it is just the dogs in the backseat, but once I had to ride with them. I was able to sit between the dog seat , but it was a snug fit.
The pad is removable and is very thick and comfortable. The seats are sturdy and well made EXCEPT for the hook that attaches to the dog’s harness. It is very flimsy. We replaced it with something stronger.
The seats are a little tricky to install the first time, but once you figure out how to thread the seat belt through the loops at the bottom, they are not difficult to install.
We’ve had these for several months. My dogs like them. I’m giving them five stars even with the flimsy hook.
Rescue dog tip – if your dog has car anxiety, let your dog get familiar with the seats before using them in the car. I put them side-by-side in our family room. I put some toys in them. I occasionally gave my dogs treats in the seats. I let them get used to the seats for a couple of weeks before using them in the car. First trip, we took them on a short drive to get ice cream.

Much bigger the I anticipate, I kept it anyways. It’s nice. My dog went in it as soon as I took it out and chilled it in until we went out. His still not 100% used to it but slowly getting there. I’m sure he will also grow into it a little more
Have seen car seats like these before and always assumed they were unnecessary and a bit gimmicky. (I just used a regular old dog bed we had and a dog seat belt.) However, we just upgraded to an SUV so ultimately I purchased this for the extra 4″ of height since my boy loves looking out the window while we drive. This car seat is easy to install, nice quality, very cushy and comfortable and you could instantly tell how much my baby loved it!!! Now I’m kicking myself for not buying one sooner. I will say that I don’t feel the seat belt strap it comes with seems secure enough, in the event of an accident it could easily snap or come dislodged since the only thing securing it is the strap around the headrest. But I just use my dog seat belt that I already have, which clips directly into the seat belt latch. Overall, this is a great product and I highly recommend purchasing it!
Bought this for my Luna she’s a Golden Doodle 3 years old now. I was looking for a car seat that she would ride in and be comfortable and safe and this one fit the bill she loves to look out the window!She has great visibility while riding and it’s very durable. I love the way it looks in my Jeep Cherokee Overland I bought the black and brown one. It also fits perfectly in the FRONT seat the measurements are spot on.
Luna is a medium size dog weight is 45 pounds she has plenty of room that if she wants to lay down she can. I use a harness instead of a collar for better stability and safety. I highly recommend this dog car sea
