First time using one of these to make mashed potatoes and it really does make the mashed smoother! This ricer worked great and was easy to clean. It’s solid quality as well and not flimsy.
Makes the best mashed potatoes, period.
I’ve owned many ricers before but most of them were crank operated. This model looks like a giant garlic press and is so simple to use and saves so much time. Potatoes come out super smooth and is super easy to clean.

I thought I had smooth potatoes before. I was wrong. This thing is a must if you have a picky eater in the house and can’t sand that powdered crap. This thing is sturdy, can fit a few reds, gold or russets up to medium and if you’ve boiled them enough its like squeezing soft butter. The texture you can get from this a sieve is out of this world. Works amazing.
