Golden Review Award: 37 From Our UsersWOW!!!
I moved into an apartment recently and my door opens up to the mailbox area. For 2 reasons I purchased these curtains- 1: I hated that when I opened my door, anyone at the mailbox area could see directly into my apartment. 2: Bc of my location there was always noise from conversations outside at the mailbox and Im sure conversations heard from inside my apartment too.

I really was impressed by these curtains! Their weight is truly impressive. I threw the 2 curtains over my shoulder to help my partner hang them up and I felt like I was putting my young child over my shoulder!

They are so soft and velvety they exude such elegance!

They are also very well made! No threads loose, no areas left unsown. Perfectly made!

I have them hanging in the small hallway by the door, so I can’t speak to you directly about their blocking any light, but there is no doubt they would do the trick. I’m actually disappointed I didn’t come across these years ago when I had a sliding glass door that faced North, and no matter the thermal curtains I purchased to keep out the winter wind, they didn’t work. I know these would’ve worked and look lovely while doing so!

Did they help me with my issues? I think they look ok hanging in the apartment not near a window, and I know no one can see past them. With cutting down on the sound, yes, I think so. Of course you hear the kid crying or screaming in the hallway, but I think the overall chatter has cut down and maybe I don’t need to worry about my neighbors wondering wth Im watching on tv either, lol!

I highly recommend these curtains, well worth their price!

    Somewhat soundproof but great otherwise.
The curtains are more soundproof than what we had before. I still can’t “crank the sound” as my partner is upstairs. The curtains keep the heat in the room and help to keep the room very dark. Overall we’re quite satisfied.

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersThey do the job and look great!
They’re built tough, and look great in my room. I was worried that they would be cheap, but honestly if you smooth them out after hanging them they definitely step into another tier. As far as blackout goes, they do a great job. My only advice though is that you hang them high and wide to compensate for light bleed.

Golden Review Award: 26 From Our UsersExcellent Blackout Single Layer Only - But Still Diffuses Sound Well, Better Looking than Mos
Blocks light completely and looks better than most blackout curtains. It will help absorb sound and acts well as sound treatment for those interested in creating a home theater or home recording studio. Not sure what anti-dust means, so I’m not even reviewing that feature.

It is only a single layer, which means it’s lighter than most curtains used for this purpose. The only way this detracts from the curtain is that it BLOCKS less sound from outside – but still ABSORBS or DIFFUSES sound from inside very well. It took me a while to figure out the difference between those two acoustic treatment concepts.

Pardon the bad photo. I could have mounted it 1/2″ higher and it would have completely blocked out the narrow strip of light at the top. But my purpose was for the diffusion of sound, not light – and it works surprisingly well for this purpose.

Golden Review Award: 6 From Our UsersMutes noise from traffic
Omgosh, we live on a very busy noisy road on the 2nd floor, at a red light so I thought I would try these & boy, am I glad I did. They aren’t soundproof but they really helped muffle the noise & are really good blackout curtains. They are heavy & a little too long but I will fix that. So glad I bought them. Nice looking too

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersCheaper than sound paneling
These curtains worked out perfect for our film studio. Way less expensive than buying wall panels and the acoustics sound amazing. We have these installed in the basement where it gets cold, however these curtains also keep the room warm too.

Best curtains that I've bought till now
These curtains are exactly as advertised.

Made of high quality materials for sure.

In my case i wanted some curtains that could limit the sound reflection from a window. It works and it’s definitely black out curtains as well.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersGood quality. Thick and heavy curtains.
I took 1 star away for the lack of hanging designs. I wish they had a pair without the metal loops.

Great quality curtains. I ended up buying a total of 3 sets of these to close off a den. They are every bit as advertised. They are quite sound resistant and look nice. Very thick and heavy curtains. These curtains cut all the echo and reverberance type sounds from the room. They also help dampen noises from other parts of the house. It’s no wall, but this was a quick and easy solution without needing to put up a wall.

    A great produc
They aren’t cheap but are worth the money.I’m pleasantly surprised at how much noise they do block out. They are curtains so don’t expect them to block out the higher decibel noises.
