Just remind them that the swivel wheel go on back of cart. My wife made me put them on front, she dumped dinner on kitchen floor. It hasn’t changed her mind about what the instructions say yet.
I ordered 2 of these carts and they arrived today. Perhaps I should have read the descriptions better when I placed the order, as I expected all 4 wheels on each cart to be 360 swivel, but only 2 each are. Deeper into the text, it describes them as 2 swivel wheels. My misunderstanding.
The directions are a very small print and scetchy. It looked like you should put the swivels on the back by the handle, though it looks like other carts picture the swivel wheels on the front. I presume it only matters if you prefer to push it, or pull it, but it would have been helpful for all 4 to be swivel. I’m currently looking online to find 4 more swivel wheels, perhaps with locks, so I can upgrade my 2 carts.
The only other disappointment was the condition of the top trays. (Pictured here) Both had dents, one much worse than the other, but the one with less dents also had a scratch through the galvanized finish. These carts will be used to carry wet material, so I will have to coat the scratch with something so it doesn’t rust. A foam pad around the trays in shipping would have helped.
ON THE POSITIVE side, they do seem like nicely built carts. Sturdy. I love that they are galvanized, and the wheels move easily and seem very supportive. Even with tiny instructions, and minimal building experience, I was able to figure out how to put the wheels on. (I was fortunate to have a socket wrench set on hand! EXTREMELY HELPFUL!!)
At the time I ordered these carts, I didn’t find anything else that was a similar size and style. Overall, I think these will suit our needs very well.
They were easy to unfold. I have not folded them up again yet.
The top shelf is easy to take off and put on. The cart can be used without the top shelf if you want.
Best dolly ever, job site must have!
I’ve had this for a little over a month and I love it. I am a field service technician for a forklift company, and I have to be mobile for most of my work. I’m currently on a site that I’ve been working for about 5-6 weeks and a lot of the components I work with are heavy and cumbersome; this makes it so much easier to bring parts and tools from my van into the site. I honestly didn’t know how sturdy it would be given the design and price but I am definitely impressed. It folds very flat for quick easy storage in my van when I’m not using it, but until I’m finished at this site I use it to truck parts and tools back and forth. The wheels are smooth and sturdy, the second shelf is a huge help but you can use it like a regular dolly if you don’t need the two shelves.
I don’t write a ton of reviews even though I probably contribute a solid 7-9% of Amazon’s income with almost everything I purchase, but this one was worth it.
Cart works perfect for daily use and a variety of task for hauling tools to bringing groceries into my apt complex. Easily can be stored inside house and or car since both top shelf and bottom cart fold and can easily be separable for any task you need either for. Had a quirk or two with my first cart reached out and had a replacement cart in about a week. Extremely satisfied with both the cart and customer service!!
Bought for my parents, works amazing. My parents are getting older and can’t carry heavy bags or boxes anymore. They can unload a car load of groceries in one trip with this cart. This cart folds up if you want to store it. Would recommend.
