Compact grinder that does a good job
This grinder is excellent. I have owned numerous coffee grinders over the years, all different styles and from different manufacturing companies. Considering the price, and just in general, this one is one of the best that I have used. I had seen in some customer reviews that there were some concerns regarding coffee grounds spilling during the grinding process. There is no mess whatsoever with my grinder. After the container contents are emptied into the coffee maker you just need to be sure it is fully inserted back into place rather than almost all the way in. Another feature I like about this little machine, as compared to other burr grinders I have owned, is that it takes up a much smaller amount of space on the counter in both area and height. I would recommend this coffee grinder and would purchase again. My coffee tastes great!
I really like this bird grinder and the ability to change the grind setting. I do wish it would grind a little more coarse than what the course is setting gets you. Still, I get an excellent cup of coffee. One of the things that I have to do to make sure it grinds all the coffee is shake it until the coffee gets settled down into the ports to go into the grinder it doesn’t seem to want to do that on It’s own.
One other issue, and I’m quite baffled by this, is the hopper is correct. Started out small and is working its way down. Actually this is not a replacement part offered by Hamilton Beach I’m a handy guy and can glue it, tape it, etc. Still would rather not have to.

Un muy buen precio para este molino, si eres muy exigente en cuanto al molido para los distintos mtodos este molino no es para ti.
En su molido ms fino no queda todo uniforme y hay grnulos ms adecuados para hacer caf por filtrado (pour over). En el caso del molido ms grueso en mi opinin queda no tan grueso como el ideal para hacer una prensa francesa, sin embargo el molino trabaja muy bien y es muy econmico.
My favorite coffee is a medium roast Sumatra sold at my local grocer in whole bean. Unfortunately, the store grinders get used for flavored coffee more than unflavored, so my rich, mellow Sumatra tastes like some awful vanilla pecan cimmamon french roast nonsense. Trashcan punch. I had previously owned the Cuisinart burr grinder for several years. It ground pretty well but was unbelievably loud and very messy.
This Hamilton Beach grinder is surprisingly good given the very low price. A quick rundown. It is small– probably half the size of my old grinder. It sits neatly on the bar above my brewers in the space where I used to keep my k-cups. It is much quieter. It is still loud enough to startle the dog, but not loud enough that it wakes the whole house if I use it in the morning. The grind is very consistent. I’ve been using a fine setting (espresso) and there have been no bigger bits in the grind so far. It’s cleaner. Static cling and ground coffee still present a challenge, but coffee doesn’t explode from the cup when I open it like the Cuisinart did. Think “occasional cleanup” not “steel yourself for the mess” because you want fresh grounds.
My pod machine died and I replaced it with the Hamilton Beach Scoop single serve drip machine. This grinder is a fantastic companion to that machine. I can make one GOOD cup at a time. With the price for the combination of the drip machine and the grinder below that of most of the other brand name grinders, this is a very good buy.
love this thing. can put a half of a bag of coffee beans in the top container and just press the button in the morning and almost instantly it grinds the set amount desired for me. My coffee maker is a Ninja with the “rich” setting which takes a lot longer but makes stronger coffee, so i grind with the 10 cup setting with my 12 cup coffee pot and get a really strong coffee quality. it grinds better than the small single electric grinders with the blades on the bottom and much faster and consistent. coffee actually tastes a lot better now too =) perfect size and noisy enough to wake the kids. Just a tip. don’t try to twist the top after you put beans in it. you will have a mess. (i was just making sure it was locked)

Muito bom moedor, pode dosar quantidade e densidade do p modo, fao crtica somente a sada da moagem e entrada do reservatrio de coleta, parece faltar uma melhor vedao pois escapa uma poeirinha do caf sujando a mesa.
