Golden Review Award: 10 From Our UsersJust one flaw
I like this device, and it works very well. However, one small thing that bothers me is the thickness of the cable for the USB-C connection. The cable is too thick for the arrangement I wanted to use my iPad in.

I would prefer they either use a thinner cable, or better yet, rather than the USB-C cable, just having a

socket to connect my own USB-C cable to. The wall-mount frame I have for my iPad has provisions

for the cable/usb-c that comes with the iPad, which is much thinner cable than what is provided with

this PoE injector. So, while the cable provided with my iPad fits into the frame, the cable on the ethernet injector does not fit in the frame.

    *********Update***********

I am having to send back this device because the metal USB-C connection is almost on the verge of

snapping off from the cable. It is very loose and wobbly, not to mention that I cannot get any

internet with it, and even though I had it connected to a PoE port on my switch, it would not charge

the batteries on either my iPhone or iPad.

Additionally, upon corresponding with someone at the manufacturer, she told me this device

offers very low power and may likely not even charge the battery on my devices. She did not have

any explanation as to why I wasn’t getting internet on my iPad when connected to this device.

    *************Updated review**************

So, I sent this one back and purchased the somewhat more expensive 23watt PoE to USB-C.

It does work. Charges my iPad and provides internet connectivity.

My only peeve with this device is that if you want both charging and internet, it’s necessary

to use the provided cable. I can physically connect the cable that came with my iPad, but

it won’t carry an internet connection. So, the cable that came with this PoE is absolutely

necessary if you want both charging and internet capability. It is good quality, and I prefer the

typical status light on the 23 watt over the simple LED of the less expensive model.

So, if you want both internet and simultaneous charging, go with the $59 (23 watt) version.

Golden Review Award: 1 From Our UsersGreat Product Exactly What I Needed!
I was a little skeptical at first, but this item turned out to be exactly what I was looking for. It arrived on time and in good condition. The quality is solid, and it works just as described. Setup was straightforward, and I’ve had no issues so far. Definitely worth the price. I would recommend this to anyone considering it!

Golden Review Award: 1 From Our UsersIt works as it should. Great value
This is a great alternative to charging your Android/Iphone (type-c) when you’ve either lost other chargers, or need to connect to a network that has no WiFi access. My pixel-10, as an example, started charging as soon as I plugged it in to the PoE port on my Netgear GS324TP switch, also the WiFi icon turned to the ethernet icon <-->, I could see it on the network using the firewall logs. This is a great addon to the I.T. toolbox!

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersWorks perfectly for Mevo Start Camera and Google Chromecast with Google TV
Outstanding value. This device connected at 1 Mbps and provided 5 volt power and ethernet to either a Chromecast or a Mevo Start Camera. Both devices worked perfectly. The equivalent Mevo product costs $199.

The device also works without POE input. If I connect it to my phone or other device that can provide USB-C power, it works perfectly as a gigabit ethernet adapter, drawing power from the phone or computer.

Very good build quality. Contrary to another review of this product, I found the output IS isolated. At least with my POE switch there was only a millivolt reading between the USB-C connector and ground in the house.

Golden Review Award: 1 From Our UsersSolid POE Ethernet adapte
Works as advertised. Perfect for my Mevo start at a fraction of the Logitech POE Ethernet adapter price. 10 watts is more than enough to keep the battery charged and extend the run time far longer than anything I would need in one shooting.
