This is a fantastic tool
I honestly can’t say enough good about this tool. It’s one of those rare multi-use pieces that actually delivers on all the functions it claims—blower, vacuum, and diatomaceous earth spreader—all in one unit that’s easy to handle and easy to switch between modes.
Build quality is fantastic. It feels solid in hand, nothing flimsy or “cheap plastic experiment” about it. The fit and finish give you confidence that it’s meant to be used regularly, not just occasionally pulled out and babied.
The blower power is also insane. It moves a surprising amount of air for a compact unit and easily handles cleanup tasks that would normally take a much larger dedicated blower. That alone makes it useful beyond just the diatomaceous earth application.
I had never even used diatomaceous earth before getting this, but this setup made it simple to try and use effectively. It spreads evenly, doesn’t clump up when used correctly, and makes a job that could be messy feel controlled and straightforward.
The vacuum and blower functions are just as useful in real-world cleanup as the spreader function is for pest control applications. It’s not just a “jack of all trades, master of none” situation—it actually performs well across the board for what it is.
More than anything, I’m just grateful to have it in the toolbox. It’s one of those tools that ends up getting used more often than you expect because it solves multiple problems without needing to drag out different equipment every time.
Solid Build ~ Powerful to Handle the Job ~ Doesn't Rapidly Discharge Battery ~ Good Motor!
What I like:
This powerful duster is solidly-built and gets the job done! I knew in advance of ordering that I’d need the 18V battery, by Milwaukee, and I didn’t mind purchasing two of the batteries, as I found a deal. The duster functions quite well and powerful motor operates smoothly and moves an impressive amount of air! Of course, it can also be used as just a light-duty blower or vacuum, as well. The vacuum function and blower function (non-dusting) are fine, but I think it shines best as a duster tool. I like that it packs the power needed to get into the thick foliage, allowing me to disperse my Diatomaceous Earth deep into the undersides of the entire plant structure.
What I don’t like:
I can’t complain, as the tool provides the power and good battery life to handle the tasks, as needed.

Using a manual pump to spread diatomaceous earth has always been a chore that leaves my hands cramped and the coverage uneven. This electric applicator changes the experience entirely. Since it uses the same 20V batteries I already have for my other power tools, it was ready to go immediately. The connection is secure, and the motor has more than enough power to push a consistent fine mist of powder across garden beds without the stuttering puffing you get from hand-squeezed bottles.
The variable speed trigger is one of the better features here. It allows for a lot of precision; I can dial it back when I am working in tight spaces near delicate plants or crank it up when I need to treat the perimeter of a shed. The 800mL container holds quite a bit of material, which means I can finish most of my outdoor tasks without having to stop for a refill. It is much more efficient than the old-fashioned way of shaking a container or using a manual bellows.
Beyond just dusting, it works surprisingly well as a small utility blower. It is handy for clearing off a workbench or blowing water out of crevices after washing a car. That said, the tool is quite noisy during operation, sounding more like a high-pitched vacuum than a typical garden tool. Also, when paired with a larger 5Ah or 6Ah battery, the weight distribution shifts toward the bottom quite a bit. This makes the unit feel a little unbalanced, which might be noticeable if you are holding it at an odd angle for an extended period.
Overall, the build quality feels robust. The plastic is thick enough to handle being moved around in a tool bag, and the nozzle stays firmly in place. It simplifies what used to be a messy and tedious task, providing a much more uniform application of powder than anything I have used previously.
Lightweight but Powerful 3-in-1 Garden Duster and Spraye
This electric diatomaceous earth duster works really well and is very convenient, especially if you already use compatible DeWalt 20V MAX batteries. The ability to quickly switch between the duster, sprayer, and vacuum functions makes it much more versatile than standard applicators.
I was impressed with how easy it is to change attachments. The vacuum collection bag has clear markings that show exactly how to attach and lock everything into place, which made setup simple and frustration-free. The instruction manual is also very well done with clear pictures showing how to use each mode as a blower, vacuum, and sprayer.
One thing I really like is that it is not heavy, which makes it much easier to use for longer periods without your arms getting tired. Even though it is lightweight, it still has strong power and airflow to get a lot done quickly and efficiently.
The variable speed control is useful for adjusting airflow depending on the job, and the 800mL capacity is a good size without making the unit feel bulky. Overall it feels sturdy, practical, and much easier to use than manual dusters. Great tool for garden use, pest control applications, and general cleanup tasks.
It works very well!!
I was a bit hesitant on this being a off brand. This duster works amazingly well. My only gripe is that I wish it a variable speed switch. Mine is on or off.
