This is my fifth or sixth set of ecolook towels that I have ordered this year. I am currently in the process of retiring several sets of towels that are old enough to go to middle school. Of all the ecolook towels that I have ordered, only two sets have made my personal list of products to order again, and this set of dark gray low-nap ecolook Luxury Bath Towels definitely did not make that list.
If you are Miss Lint from the animated series, “The Tick,” or the Lint Lady from “Courage the Cowardly Dog,” then you will absolutely love the extreme amount of lint that these towels generate after the first few wash and dry cycles. I am honestly surprised that they had sufficient substance left to dry me after my shower after losing so much material in the laundry. I seriously doubt that they possess the durability to survive through pre-kindergarten age.
These 100 percent cotton towels represent a fair value proposition overall. I have to give these towels a three-star rating even though the description stated that these are “lightweight” towels. However, the word, “luxury” was also prominent in the description which is a misnomer since these towels are the type reserved for cheap hotels and YMCAs. I suppose if I wanted a thin, threadbare, lightweight towel, I would have just kept my middle school aged towels because they feel exactly like these new ecolook towels.
The two types of ecolook towels that made my “I will order again” list are the ecolook premium extra-large bath towels and the ecolook pack of one jumbo bath sheet.
Lightweight, fast-drying, and soft!!!
These towels are nice! They are super lightweight, which makes them perfect to bring along for a pool or beach day. They fold down really well, too, and take up very little space. The fabric is lightweight and breathable. Although the fabric of the towels is thin, allowing the towels to remain capable of being folded down really well and thus ensuring that they are convenient for storage or travel purposes, the material is quite dense and absorbent. The color is a pretty gray color, and the towels have a nice looking almost fringe-y look to them with the embossed lines along the edges.
The towels are very soft and absorbent. They don’t have a lot of lint, which I am super happy about! I have being covered in towel lint after using new towels. Yuck. I didn’t have that issue at all with these. They also dry incredibly fast! They feel dry way faster than any other towels I’ve used. This is great because it ensures that you don’t have wet towels laying around developing mildew and growing mold.
The towels are great. They’re soft, ultra lightweight, absorbent, and quick-drying as promised. These are ideal for those that have limited storage space and don’t have the capacity for giant, fluffy towels as well as those who want towels suitable for travel.
Perfect Match for My RV, Soft, Lightweigh
The ECOLOOK 2 Pack Cotton Bath Towels turned out to be exactly what I needed for our RV setup. Since the inside of our RV is all grey, I picked these up specifically to match the interior, & the light gray color fits in perfectly. Beyond the look, they’re surprisingly soft for lightweight towels. They feel comfortable on the skin & don’t have that rough, cheap texture some travel towels have. What really makes them ideal for RV use is how quickly they dry, when space is limited & everything has to stay fresh, that’s a big plus. The 28×55 size is a great balance too. They’re large enough to use comfortably after a shower, but not bulky, so they don’t take up much storage space. The hanging loop also comes in handy in a small RV bathroom where every bit of organization helps. Overall, these fit our RV lifestyle perfectly,compact, quick drying, & they match the interior nicely while still being soft & functional.
Plush lightweight cotton towels with nice detailing and constructio
This set of soft cotton bath towels are generously sized (but not too large) and plush!
Here is what I like:
> They are soft. They feel plush right out of the packaging and also after washing.
> They are super absorbent!
> The grey color is neutral yet has an upscale look. The subtle border textured design also makes these a bit more sophisticated.
> The 28×55 size is generous enough to wrap around a man’s waist.
> The towels are light enough to do a hair turban wrap without feeling like it is weighing down my head.
> While plush, they are also a bit thinner but in a good way that allows them to dry faster.
This towel set feels durable but only time will tell as I already noticed a pull after one washing. I do feel they are a bit expensive but good towels do cost more so I could find no reason to deduct any stars.
Very soft and absorbe
I was drawn to these towels because of the claims of the quality of the cotton. I have to say they actually back it up. It is soft and pliable or not but it feels more like microfiber.
Upon taking a shower and drying off I found them to be very absorbent. Very nice and soft against my skin. They are definitely thin and light compared to the old towel I have been using at work, which is why I was initially so skeptical of them given they felt more like thin microfiber to me. I’m glad to say I was wrong though.
The weave in the stitching seem to be very good quality with no runners anywhere no threads hanging off.
I think the only thing I’m a little bit disappointed in is the amount of lint however I’m hopeful that that will go away after several washings. I literally had light gray fuzz in my facial stubble! I hope I’m not being too judgmental but it’s been a while since I bought a town and typically I buy larger sense that seem to be more affordable but I’ll be honest in the past 5 years a lot of stuff has gotten more expensive that I haven’t bought a lot of.
These are a pretty good deal and helpful to hold up pretty well since I’m only going to be using them at work and I don’t have to worry about my teenager leaving them on the bathroom floor constantly!
Amazing softness!
The Ecolook 2 pack cotton towels are even softer than they look! FIrst I washed them in the washing machine in hot water and they did fine in the washer and dryer. They are not super thick but they are really really soft! They do a great job drying you off even though they are a little lighter weight. I think the picture makes them look a little more plush then they are, but these are really nice towels in the softness and they don’t feel thin by any measure, they are just not super plush. The pictures I took made mine look lighter then they really are, I love the color. It is a pretty neutral grey color. These are also regular bath towels (smaller then bath sheets), but they fit me just as I expected for the size.
They come as a two pack and I think they are well priced for the softness quality, they are really soft on a level I just do not see a lot in towels. These are amazing and I am going to get myself some of the bathsheets also! I love these! I am so glad I found these! These are amazing towels! These will now be the standard I set for any other towels I get.
The towels arrived just wrapped in plastic. This is a nice set of towels that might love a nice box in order for gifting because these would be great to gift or in a bath set basket/new mother/mothers day/get well gift basket, and they are a quality that might show better with a well designed box for presentation, especially at this price.
