I will get to the case. I wish this also had a setting to change the phases of the moon.
The remote control works great and allows you access to many of the settings. Don’t lose it. The moon itself is brilliant. It’s appearance is that of the moon as seen from the northern hemisphere. It was so easy to install. 1 screw in the wall at a stud and you’re good to go. It comes with 2bsets of wires. The 1st set is for permanent installation being wired like your ceiling lights the other is to plug it in, the only batteries used are for the remote and are included and should last longer than your rv remote. The size of this moon is huge. I love it, but make sure to measure because while some think 19 inches isn’t so big like other reviews have said you don’t want any surprises. I wish I had the space for a bigger one but this one will do just fine.
A pretty, perfectly lit moon that has functionality for adults and all ages alike. Battery life is not an issue, as the moon is installed either hardwired or plugged in through the outlet. Although, the wireless remote control does use AAA-Batteries. The included remote is fairly easy to use, you do have to point it directly to the moon though, which some may find as a slight disadvantage. Overall, viable value for your money 🙂
The light level is good and the image is very realistic. My son loves it. My gripe and the reason for four stars is the mounting hardware. It was easy to install but the four metal arms that act as the frame and support and far too weak. Because the diameter of the light is large they flex down supporting it and make the light not fit flush the the ceiling. I am a general contractor and handyman by trade. This was for my own kiddo but I’ve put up hundreds of light and the mounting design for this one could have been much better. Other products that use a circular mount are much bette
Such a cool wall light! Very well made! The instructions were easy to follow for the plugged method. The bracket it comes with allows the wall light to be secured to the wall really well, so you don’t have to worry about it falling off the wall. I also like how there are a couple lighting options (hue and dimmability).

Easy assembly, we hardwired it to the ceiling. Super simple and easy t9 understand instructions.
3 different light settings, warm, cool, and bright, it dims and brightens like 5 levels or so, the night light setting is the coolest.

I installed this as a ceiling light in my kids room. They have a window as a great light source during the day and I wanted something that was a little dimmer (or could be dimmed) at night. This has dimming and color tone functions, even a nightlight mode! It’s really cool looking and my kids love it. It was fairly easy to install. They are light weight. The size I got was pretty big and it feels well supported by the frame.
During the day due to the moon graphic it isn’t as bright as a normal ceiling light would be. You can definitely see by it just fine, but it’s not bright light like we are used to these days. This is just as well for us because of the window, but it’s something to consider depending on what your specific use is.
Moon Fixture is of lakquality built. The moon picture has great detail. It looks really cool in the dark, even with ambient lights surrounding this fixture it stands out! I would purchase this again. Craftsmanship and quality are good. Price point for the fixture is what I expected. You can hard wire it to your existing fixture wiring, or use the supplied extension cord with rocker switch to plug it in, if you are hanging it on a wall. It has a remote for dimming as well. Plus changing the color warmth, warm white vs daylight.
