Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersAlls well that ends well.
I bought this computer model-Dell OptiPlex 7070 SFF Desktop Computer PC in April, 2025, – 5 days over the limited warranty period, the computer failed. Customer support/tech support worked with me diligently to try and reinstall windows remotely, to no avail. I sent the computer back and they quickly sent a new computer to me within days. It has been working flawlessly since July 2025. Technical support was was great. Would do business again with this company STG Skytech Global.

Golden Review Award: 17 From Our UsersSuper Fast and Great Value!
This computer was recommended to me by a friend who is in the computer business and it did not disappoint. I was nursing a windows 10 computer that was old and tired and took way to long to boot up. I’ve been using it for 2 months now, it boots up super fast because of the I gig SSD drive and performs very well! It’s a refirb but was package well and flawless cosmetically. Using it for 2 months and I’m very impressed. Windows 11 was a bit of a learning curve but I’m used to it now.. Sound card was not as rich and adjustable as the beats audio I had on the computer it replaced but this was not my use case and it’s tolerable for all the money I saved.. Dell support site is great too and updated all my drivers, bios and firmware and the windows 11 updates worked as they should. A great value!!

This is a great buy for the performance. I replaced the wife’s I5 PC with Windows 10 that was painfully slow and would have to be rebooted 2 times a day. This machine was easy to set up. Windows made it easy to transfer her setting to the new unit. The performance is like night and day. Web pages pop up instantaneously and paired to our network Printer with no issues. I highly recommend this Dell OptiPlex 7070. By the way… mine came with a disc drive also!

Golden Review Award: 17 From Our UsersFantastic bargain, but might not be 100% turnkey experience
Great machine, but two cons that might leave some people stuck and disappointed.

First the potential biggy. The system came with NO power cord. Oops!

Also, as other another review stated, the Wi-Fi is NOT built in by DELL as the description states. It is a tiny $5 USB type

but it works just fine and this makes no difference to me, but it might to some.

FYI, if you get this machine and the Wi-Fi sees access points but will not connect, try a different USB port. I started with the 4th USB3 (blue) port on the right and no go. I moved it to the first on the left, and it has been solid now for a few days. I don’t know why this would happen, but I got it working so no big deal.

Neither of those issues flustered me, your mileage may vary.

I got this refurb PC because of its 8 core i7-9700, 32GB RAM and 1TB SDD all for a great price.

If you have never owned one of these DELL commercial grade machines, you will not be disappointed. The build quality and the heavy sheet metal used in these units is far superior to a discount consumer grade PC. I have had four similar mini towers like this over the years – 2 HP and 2 DELL, but this is the most powerful one yet. The $400 price point makes it a no-brainer for most business and home office uses. It runs Win11, Libre Office, some trading and charting platforms, and FL Studio DAW all at the same time without hesitation. The 32GB RAM no doubt helps with that.

The unit arrived well packed for shipping and reasonably clean, though it had what I thought at first was a small scratch on top. This turned out to be a splash of white-out from its past corporate life.

As I mentioned above, what could be a showstopper for most users looking for a turnkey machine, this unit arrived with no power cord. Now, having been a PC hardware nerd for decades, I have dozens of the standard power cords laying around, and it did not slow me down a bit. Obviously, though, a power cord should come in the box, and most likely will in yours. I can’t imagine they left it out on purpose.

I have not tested the included CHEAP wireless keyboard and mouse, but I am sure they are fine for what they are and are probably an upgrade for laptop keyboard users.

Great value, in a small, solid package.

Very good performance for very little money
I’m very pleased with this computer. I purchased this because I want to run my hobby milling machine on CNC. I completely new to CNC, so this is a learning experience. I did encounter a few setbacks with the computer, but I eventually got everything connected. One small problem was the USB WiFi adapter that came with it failed. Amazon had many options so I chose a TP-Link one that I purchased years ago for a different computer. It saved me from going without internet when I needed it most.

I wouldn’t hesitate purchasing another computer from this company.

    UPDATE 2/25/26:

This is still a great deal for the money. It has worked flawlessly. I’m adding a star because of the seller’s behavior. RenewByte-Quality Recertified helped me quickly, efficiently and without hassling me about the problem I encountered and the solution.

I needed to implement NFS services on this system. I intentionally bought something running Pro because I anticipated this being a need. I went to activate the feature, and it wasn’t there. I dug around and found that Win 11 Home had actually been installed. To me, this was a no brainer, easy think to fix knowing how the refurb market works, and it’s an easy mistake to make, so shouldn’t be any sweat. It took me longer working with Amazon to get a solid answer as to who specifically sold this to me through the Amazon refurb store than it did for RenewByte to solve my problem. All you need in this case is the right Product key and you can upgrade Home to Pro in-place (in case you didn’t know that).

RenewByte was ON IT. As soon as I figured out it was them (and not the three other places Amazon pointed me at) they listened to the problem, understood the problem as I articulated it, and got me the right product key, which, of course, worked. My wife’s system now has Win 11 Pro, not Home and all it took was a reboot to complete the process once I put the key in.

They could have, and I indeed have had other refurb groups run me around the mulberry bush to do a return because that’s somehow “easier” for them when the only problem is something small like a card failed that I could replace on my own. RenewByte didn’t do that. They took care of me with the least amount of friction possible.

THANK YOU, RenewByte, I will be looking to you for my future needs in this class of machine without looking at others, based on your customer service.

This is a great deal for a productivity system. The unit is fast, and if you’ve got your MS account tied to your Windows machine, it really is an easy process to migrate systems, even from Win 10. As someone who has a heightened sense of security and data privacy I’m not a huge fan of that, but it does work super smooth.

For conducting online meetings with Teams or Zoom, MS Office work with large Word docs or Excel spreadsheets, it just cranks. The network is fast, it has plenty of USB ports and is not loud. I don’t use the WiFi but it works and is decently fast. One thing I like about these Dell SFF systems is they are still expandable. There are 2 PCIe slots available, a bank of memory slots open, and I slapped a second SATA SSD for some working scratch space into the unit with zero issues.

I would imagine based on how well it performs that it could be used as a kids gaming machine. It would run Minecraft without breaking a sweat for sure, but for serious gamers you’d want something with more video capability.

I have used another one of these (though a 5070) as a linux jump server, and it works really well for that as well. It’s tough to beat the price for what this system provides.
