This is a gorgeous way to show dads some love. The crystal is very clear and heavy. There is a cutout where the clock face goes. When you want to change the battery, you can remove the clock easily.
From the front, the whole thing looks absolutely beautiful. The crystal is heavy and clear. I think the weight gives it a high end feel. That said the clock pops in and out, and when you turn it over and see the back, it does look and feel kind of like cheap plastic. The back cover pops right off and you just put a triple a battery inside. When you pop the lid back on you have to make sure it’s lined up correctly, but how you line it up is pretty obvious ehen you see it.
The clock comes nicely packaged in a blue box with plenty of padding to keep it protected. There’s a plastic bag that goes over the clock to help prevent smudges.I’m assuming. It comes with a nice card for dad, along with a envelope. I took photos so you could see everything for yourself. I didn’t photograph the inside of the card but it’s just blank. This is a good choice for dads for pretty much any occasion. It would be a nice gift for a birthday, father’s day or Christmas. It would also be a really nice gift for someone.You just wants to make dad feel loved.And it doesn’t have to revolve around a holiday or birthday. It looks like something that will be cherished.
I would have given this 5 stars if the back of the clock didn’t feel cheap. Personally, I don’t really mind that the back doesn’t feel as nice as the rest it’s still a beautiful gift. Depending on where you place it, no one’s likely to see it anyway. However, I know there are those who would find this off putting.
I think that it’s worth the price. Overall it’s a wonderful gift. You do need something dark behind the clock to be able to read thw writing on this because it is white. Just looking at the white writing against the crystal clear background is difficult to see, but when I put something dark behind it, it’s quite nice.
