This Cuisinart air fryer is a unique take on your typical air fryers. I like that it has glass basket rather than the typical metal/non-stick style. This one is great for small kitchens as the size is perfect in my opinion. The controls on the top also makes it easy to see and use. The flan glass basket feels very durable and has a good heft to it. It’s easy to slide in and out and stays secure. During cooking that’s glass will get very hot, so you’ll need to be careful to not touch it. The handles on the side stay cool to the touch so it’s not an issue. As for cooking, it does a good job of air frying and is fairly even in it’s cooking. The crisper setting helps with fries and other fried items, if you’re reheating them. The bake function was ok. I tried to do a lasagna bake in there and the bottom was uneven. The top was great. I think it might be ok with other baked goods, but I think with the way it flows from top it may bake evenly since it doesn’t hear from the bottom. So long as you’re not looking at this to be a big baking machine this works great. I love the glass basket cause it’s so easy to clean. And unlike traditional air fryers, baked/cooked on residue will not remain. Overall it’s a very good air fryer and would recommend it.
I’ve used a few air fryers before, but I really like being able to see the food cooking through the glass basket. It cooks evenly, is easy to use, and cleanup is simple. Perfect size for everyday meals.
Absolutely love this air fryer! Having a clear basket makes all the difference. Being able to see what is cooking will make me use this more and more. Told my friend about it and she got one too! Highly recommend this product.
Exactly as described. Very well thought through. Like all air driers I recommend running 1/2 times to exhaust any factory chemicals before using full time. The glassware is sturdy and convenient, and visibility into the cooking process brings joy. As a guru once said “it’s better have good digestion than a good diet” and the routine of watching your food cook in such a pleasant glass container view is the best appetizer!
Love love love! I am remodeling my kitchen and so I needed to give up my stove and turn my laundry room into a small kitchen during the remodel. My toaster oven conked out about a week ago and then I saw this ad for the Cuisinart Clearview air fryer and decided to give it a try. So glad I did! It arrived today and I tried it immediately on five pieces of thick bacon. I found the instructions on the machine very simple to follow, I loved that it reminded me halfway through the cooking time to flip the bacon over, I also love that there is a light on the top so you can see it cooking in process to be sure your bacon doesn’t get too dark. When it turned off, it was willing to keep my bacon warm for me if I wanted it. I then immediately tucked in a large slice of frozen sourdough bread to toast. If handles that perfectly in at 400 degrees (it’s default setting) in four minutes, reminding me to flip it at the two minute mark. Perfect! Now, if you wanted to toast four slices of bread, you would have to do them in batches depending on the size of your bread, but I’m just cooking for myself so that’s not a problem. I also love that it only takes up an area of the counter the size of a large dinner plate. It also easily tucks under overhanging cabinets, even if they’re a bit low, as it stands less than a foot high and has no top that has to flip up at any time. The photo shows it sitting next to my 20 inch wide microwave. Very happy with my purchase!
