Expensive, but the BEST travel pillow I've ever owned.
I do want to remark on the price first. In my opinion, it’s a lot at the current cost of CAD $143.80. I will say though, that this pillow has had a lot of usage, and is still going strong. It’s unlike any travel pillow I’ve ever owned. So this 5 star review is based on quality and comfort, not price.

    Here are the pros:

    1. You know how it can be so annoying to repack a pillow after it has been removed from its storage bag? Not with this pillow. It takes very little effort to fold it up and put it back in the bag it came in.

    2. It’s so quick and easy to inflate and deflate this pillow. It takes very little time.

    3. Whoever designed this did a great job of making it easy to inflate and adjust at the same time as you’re wearing it. You can make it as firm or soft as you want without difficulty.

    4. It’s comfortable! It’s just the right kind of spongy/cushioned. Whatever position I find myself in (like traveling upright in a seat), it doesn’t put a kink in my neck! I use this for long drives and travel where I’m not sleeping the entire time. Like a 6 hour drive, but I only take a nap for an hour.

    5. The fabric is so comfortable and feels good against my skin.

    6. This doesn’t just have to be for napping! If you have an injury that has caused a sore neck, or you’re just tired and sore from athletics, I think this is ideal for easing tension by giving that upper part of your body a chance to relax. Just sit back and rest your head against the pillow for a while.

My nephew plays basketball and travels to a lot of tournaments. He keeps borrowing my pillow, so I’ll have to get him one. However, to be honest, I’m weighing spending that much money on another pillow. We may have to share this one. Whether you choose to get one for yourself or gift this, it is a pillow worth owning. It gets 5 stars for exceptional quality.

Golden Review Award: 1 From Our UsersHighly recommend: best travel pillow
I don’t think there is any travel pillow that will truly make you comfortable in the same sense as you are at home, on the couch/ in your own bed, since airplane seats are so uncomfortable. However, this is the most versatile pillow I have tried and I don’t think you will find better than this. You can use it sideways, upside down, backwards, add more air/ take air out all with a built in manual hand pump (feels like a squeaky toy squeaker) for different purposes/ comfort like sleeping on the window, leaning your head forward, tilting your head sideways, etc. I have used this on several flights now with the longest flights being 14 hours. Highly recommend this. I even bought it for several family members. There is even a pocket on the back where you can store stuff like an eye mask, or your wallet/ phone perhaps if you are traveling light.

Golden Review Award: 16 From Our UsersThe Best Travel Pillow, Finally
I’ve tested my way through the internet’s favorite travel pillows—the quirky-shaped ones, the inflatable contraptions—none worked. Too stiff, too flimsy, too awkward, too restrictive. None of my travel pillows were perfect for me.

Until that is, I happened upon Coop’s AirJustable travel pillow.

For years, I’ve searched for the right travel pillow.

I tried the beloved-by-others Trtl, which locks your head into one position—fine if you don’t move, but I do. The Bcozzy was my favorite for a long time, and it was more flexible and comfortable, but too soft to provide real support. I tried the TravelRest ILene, which only works when the plane’s windows and walls line up nicely. Then there was the world of inflatable travel pillows — like this one you hug and this one doing whatever it is doing—they were all too stiff, scratchy, or awkwardly shaped.

Then, I happened upon this new (at the time of writing) travel pillow by Coop. We use Coop pillows on all of the beds in our house (that is worth another review later, as we have a wide range of Coop pillows here, and love them all) — I was looking for a new pillow for our house and discovered their new travel pillow.

Because I love Coop’s bed pillows, I decided to try their travel pillow.

And, whew, the Coop AirJustable gets everything right.

The shape allows me to sleep in many different positions (see the videos on their website for examples). The inflatable design allows me to customize the stability and support I need (which changes depending on the seat I am in on an airplane). The memory foam keeps it super soft and comfortable. Plus, because it is inflatable, it packs down small and fits perfectly in my favorite travel bag.

This pillow has already hopped the pond and traversed the US with me—I’ve already put it to good use—and it is undoubtedly my Goldilocks option. It does everything I need it to do, and it does it exceptionally well.

    Finally.

    Great neck support, hygienic inflatio
This travel pillow feels like a big upgrade from basic ones. The memory foam and inflatable support combo is super comfy. The washable cover is a big plus, and my favorite feature is the hygienic inflation pump—you don’t need to blow into it, which is a relief for travel.

While the pillow is well-designed, pumping it up can take some effort, and the process can be a bit noisy. It’s compact when deflated but still takes up some room in your luggage compared to fully inflatable pillows. The pillow provides decent support for the neck and chin, but you’ll need a bit of time to figure out the right firmness for your comfort. It’s definitely on the pricier side, but the quality justifies the cost if you’re a frequent traveler.

    Pros:

Customizable support with memory foam and inflatable design.

Washable, cooling cover for hygiene and comfort.

    Hygienic hand pump for inflation.

    Compact and lightweight for travel.

    Cons:

Pumping takes effort and is a bit noisy.

    Slightly bulky even when deflated.

    Expensive for occasional travelers.

    Compact, but not Breathable
This inflatable neck pillow turned out to be a great travel companion. It’s easy to inflate and even easier to pack away. It barely takes up any space in your carry-on. I used it on a long flight to Europe and managed to sleep surprisingly well with the support it offered. The only downside is that the fabric gets a little warm after prolonged use, but the comfort and portability make it a worthwhile trade-off. Excellent for frequent travelers.

Golden Review Award: 1 From Our UsersVersatile and well engineered
Out of the neck pillow category, this is the most versatile and well-considered design. The air bumps allow for whatever pressure level you need, and is the most effective at minimizing head drops when sleeping (not perfect, but I can’t imagine anything else in this category could be better). The outside cover can be removed easily for washing and it’s quite soft. AND! the case is good quality and big enough to repack my pillow over and over again without the shoving and rips that typically accompany Chinese products.

I still prefer the front blow-up pillow (arms go through the holes; sits on the tray table) but some airlines (e.g., British Air) take issue w that one cuz “it might explode with the in-flight pressure”. Ugh.

    So expensive, but SO good
Oh my god this travel pillow is better than any I’ve ever used. I had trouble imagining it would be THAT much better, but it just might be. The memory foam? The self-inflating adjustability? The ergonomic design? All amazing! I cannot wait to use this on a long flight!

I previously had a standard memory foam neck pillow, that I thought was pretty good, but in hindsight it was like wearing a C-collar. It was so big and thick, it didn’t offer many options for getting comfortable. Whereas this Coop brand neck pillow is super adjustable.

Some things I love so far…

    – soft and cool to the touch cover

    – Cushy soft memory foam and fiber fill, not dense thick sturdy foam. Much comfier.

    – You can flip it around and position it in more than one way (six actually!) to get max support in any sleeping position.

    – Can be folded up and easily fit back into its carrying case, so it takes up less space than other foam neck pillows

    – It’s easy to pump it up quickly and can do so while wearing it

    – No uncomfortable edges, sharp corners, scratchy labels.

    – I appreciate the promises of being free of harmful chemicals and rigorous testing.

    Cons:

    – The price. $120 is not a reasonable price for a travel pillow for most consumers. If you travel a lot, for long hauls, maybe it’s worthwhile. If you have a long trip coming up and can’t afford the business class upgrade, maybe $120 is worth that extra bit of comfort in economy class. I don’t know if most people could justify that though.

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersGreat product. Would buy agai
I love this. I’ve tried several travel pillows and this is the winner for overnight and everyday.

Memory foam keeps you comfortable and it packs down well. Easy to use.

I think the foam helps keep you cool and I love that the fabric is washable.

The only thing I would improve is that the valve cover falls off easily. You need to hold it until you have the valve closed and then pop the ring over it and then cover it.

Golden Review Award: 8 From Our UsersGreat pillow !! Must have for long flights !
This is a fantastic travel pillow ! I Just came back from canada and japan . I took it with me on planes and trains & bus . If it wasnt for that pillow i would probably be dead by now …Very very long trip … But I was able to sleep just fine with this everywhere . I loved it . I travel quit often too 5 to 8 times a year . I tried so many travel pillows in the past this one is by far my favorite ! Very comfortable doesnt take much space to pack . Provide neck support and is pretty breathable doesnt feel like iam suffocating with this one . Some others are just too big and too tight and just uncomfortable . But This is one is really just perfect . I 100% would repurchase it . I even plan to use it in the house while watching tv now cuz i love it . Buy it its a life saver !

Golden Review Award: 5 From Our UsersLarger than expected
I was hoping this to be more compact than it is because I really don’t like carrying accessories outside my carryon while traveling, and this would take up too much space inside my carryon or hand bag. As you can see from my photos, it’s larger than a can of soda. When inflated, it’s a little too big for me. My neck circumference is 12″ and my neck length from my clavicle to my chin is about 5″. Despite that, I think this would be comfortable for my upcoming 7+ hour flight. It’s snug, and scrunches up my cheeks, so I’m prepared to look like a pug dog when I sleep. I’ll update the review after my first flight using this.
