Please don't worry about that. A little bit of temperature fluctuation is a normal phenomenon because it depends on the dry -wet degree of the materials , thickness of the material and the normal adjustable process of the machine etc.
Why is the top plate a little loose?
A little loose of the top plate is a normal phenomenon. It can keep some more adjustable space and Keep the parallel between the top plate and bottom plate , thus, it can provide more even pressure !
Why the heating plate cannot be separated from the workbench?
a. Please adjust the pressure knob anticlockwise to reduce the pressure.
b. If it still cannot be opened, please turn on the power switch, and set the higher temperature, then pull up the pressure handle.
c. Adjust the adjustable screw.

Omgggg. If you’re thinking about getting this heat press, do it. The slide out is the best thing! It’s way easier than a Vevor heat press that I was trying to use. Horrible brand btw, don’t do it. But this little gem is amazing! The adjustable pressure, press pad with the liner, & slide out drawer makes it easier to line your shirt up straight & will even press this off- brand vinyl i bought. This was well worth the money! I was going to go with the automatic HTVront press, but I started reading deep into the reviews and wasn’t pleased. When numerous ppl mention the same issue, it’s obviously a problem, so when I found this with five stars, I decided to give it a try. I am happy I did. It’s also pretty. This is a very well made piece of equipment. Highly recommend. The pressure is so good that you have to use both hands to pull it up. Heats evenly too. I’m highly impressed so far although it is very new. STILL BETTER THAN VEVOR in every way, shape, form, & fashion. Well worth the money.

I’ve been pressing apparel sine 2018 and always like having a spare press or two on hand just in case. I’ll be honest, we have used MUCH higher-end presses and this one seems superior. It’s easy to transport for on-site events, the value for the money is top notch and the slide out drawer is perfect. I burn myself so much less than before. I will say, it is a hard open. Once we got used to it, it was fine but it’s a switch from before. So far, we’ve had no issues with cold spots or screens not adhering properly. I will be happy to have a solid years worth of use out of this machine for the price we paid. If you’re on the fence, get it, you won’t regret your purchase.

Love it! It heats up fairly quickly, was easy to set up with instructions, and works awesome! I’m new to HTV on tshirts, but this machine is easy to set up and use, and I love that you can pull out the tshirt tray to get better positioning. It’s sturdy and well-built. The price is great for the quality and convenience.

I’m very impressed with this machine. After about 5 seconds in the user manual we heat transferred our for shirt using the Press. They send a helpful guide to adjust the settings to different material types. Greetings worked great super impressed and it was shipped to my door Prime in a few days.

The temperature control is spot on, and the adjustable pressure is a total game changer No assembly needed, which made setup super easy. It is a bit heavy, but that just speaks to the durability and solid quality. It can be a little tough to open at first, but once you use it a few times, you definitely get the hang of it. At first, I struggled with setting the pressure, time, and temperature. I’m still learning how to adjust the manual settings, so it takes me some time to finish a project. Overall, it’s very good—I love it! This is my first heat press, and I’m happy with it.
Works great! Love the size and pressure adjustment. However, my only issue with it is the timer doesn’t beep when it’s ready so I forget about it sometimes. Seems to heat all around so far and it’s a sturdy weight.
