Made me happy!
I’m so thrilled with these! Thought I was going to have to replace the entire thing and wouldn’t be able to get the retro looking replacements. These saved me money and are easy to install! The box that goes into the track is much smaller and the lights are LED. I’m extremely happy with this purchase!!!
Lighting heads and track look very sleek and modern.
The track and lighting heads were very easy to install. They looked very sleek and modern and provided plenty of light. The heads are infinitely adjustable and versatile. The electrical connections provided on the track were somewhat lacking. The screws and design method was lacking for a simple 14 awg romex connection. There was not enough screw length or space to wrap the conductor around the screw for a secure connection.
Bought a single set to try it out, now bought a lot more to replace a mix of halogen, led bulb, and incandescent E26 bulbs in old Hudson Bay track lights. Great that I do not have to replace all the tracks and I can add so many lights that my basement will feel like being outdoors. I prefer and recommend the 3000k lights so the light color isn’t too blue. These are nice because at 3000k they are not green tinted.
I replaced the MR 16 50 watt track lights I bought at Home Depot about 15 years ago. They are brighter and work well. Only issue is they don’t dim as evenly. But all in all they are fantastic. Just snapped into the track. Have been using every night for several months.
