Great Quality No Drill Blinds Easy Install
These are pretty good blinds, especially for apartments where you aren’t supposed to drill. These blinds were pretty easy to install with good instructions. [ Though I tried and failed without them.] These are good quality shades that you won’t find in big box discount stores. These shades block out light and some noise. I put these in the window with the window A/C, which was more convenient than curtains. These aren’t cheap, but I think they may be worth it if you don’t want holes in the wall. They also look nice.
These blinds are designed to hang by tension only, with no drilling or mounting. Be careful to buy a set that really closely matches your window width. I (foolishly and riskily) ordered a set that was a few inches narrower than my window width as the size I wanted was not available in the moment. As a result, the set I ordered was too short to reach the edges of the window frame, which is completely my fault. So, although I was not able to tension mount these blinds as they were designed, I was able to put the two ends into the existing mounting brackets that were used by the blinds I already had in that window after removing the old blinds. They were not a tight fit (again, not their fault, since I am trying to set them up in an improvised manner), but they are stable and seem to work well. The blinds themselves move smoothly and stay in place where stopped. They are a nice clean white color, but they also black out the outside light when pulled down. So, they give good privacy and help keep out the hot summer sun when needed. Just aim to get the size as close to your window opening as possible, or you will (like me) need to improvise a mounting using existing brackets.

This is a good shade. I bought it for a small window that is on the east side of my house, to block out the bright morning sun. I like that it does not need any screws or hardware. It is easy to install, it only took a few minutes, and looks great. I ordered a light gray, and the honeycomb look is very stylish. I also like how easily it is to pull down and push up. All in all, great shade.
I needed to replace vinyl blinds in a bedroom with an Eastern view. This room gets the sunlight from early morning until early afternoon. This becomes the hottest room in the house. The blinds did not do the job of shielding the sunlight and I needed something better. I found this White Cellular Blackout shade that I thought would do the job. I didn’t want to drill into the window frame so when I saw this No Drill No Tool option, it seemed perfect.
I opened the shade, and verified the size would fit, and it did. I had a little trouble with getting the shade to lock in place per the instructions. But, I finally figured it out, it only took a few minutes of playing with it, and they were secured into place. Truly, no tools were needed and I’ve opened and closed the shade many times to be sure they didn’t fall.
Now, the room is pitch black, no sun creeping in and it’s much cooler. I am so happy that this solved our problem for about half the price of the blinds. No big deal to hang them and we have just what we wanted. The quality of the shade is very good. They are heavy enough, yet they look good in a bedroom window. I can raise the blinds in the afternoon for natural light in the room. They completely disappear to the top of the window, then pull them down at night to block the sun early in the morning. This is a good renter-friendly option. I didn’t want to use screws or leave holes, so the no-drill design was exactly what I needed.
