These water weight bags worked perfectly for securing our canopy during a windy outdoor event. They were easy to fill, didn’t leak, and held the tent firmly in place. Splendid
Someone should have thought of these sooner. Some car shows are on pavement and i was tired of tying my canopy to my ride and ice chests. I took these to The 23rd annual Lonestar Hot Rod Roundup and the winds were crazy. These bad boys work amazingly. The fact you can drain them and store theme in a very small place just made it better.
This is a quality product, the Velcro is heavy duty enough for the job.
These bags easily hold down my portable motorcycle garage. Had some gusty winds after setting it up with these bags.
The bags are easy to empty and store in a small space.
4.5 stars- These were easy to fill, the seams all seem very sturdy, and the handles were comfortable. we had 40+mph wind a few nights ago and the only light pole that didn’t come up were the ones with these anchoring them.
My only complaint is that you can’t use two on the same post/leg, as the Velcro strips are at the same height. I didn’t consider that when I purchased these, or I may have looked for other options.
For a single post, these seem well made and sturdy.
These things worked wonders for my tent. Super easy to latch with the velcro straps, not too heavy, helps hold down the tent during high wind and not expensive as some of the others.
I filled mine with sand. They are so much better than the nylon bags I replaced these with. The nylon bags would leak sand, these work great. I used sand for two reason, more weight and I don’t like the idea of having water incase of a puncture. These seem very sturdy, and come with extra cap gaskets. They hold my 10×10 canopy down with no issues, the Velcro holds tight.
