This is a pretty nice set for a beginner! Great price.
For the price, this is a great set for beginners! For starters, the turntable is nice and solid and does not rock back-and-forth. It runs pretty level as well. So many things come in this set. I really like the grooved cake smoothers for the edges. Unfortunately, they aren’t very tall. There is one side of one that will do a 6 inch cake but the rest of them are 5, 4 and 3 inches so you can only do maybe a portion of the cake unless your cakes are short. It only comes with one plastic coupler, but there are a bunch of tips so that’s great. It comes with one reusable icing bag, but then a whole pack of the disposable kind. The frosting spatulas are pretty nice, but they’re super flexible. I like a little bit of flexibility, but this is flexible right at the bend part of the offset spatula, so it flexes too much in my opinion. It also comes with a cake server and a nice silicone spatula seems to have a metal core inside. That makes it nice and ridgid in the middle. The cake leveler is OK but small. It will only level cakes that are maybe 9 inches across or less. I am a professional Cake Maker and would definitely need something to handle a much larger cake. However, I got this for my niece who is just a beginner so this should work just fine.
It works well
I love this. I baked my sons birthday cake. This was my first cake decorating table. It made decorating the cake so much easier. Its stainless so it’s durable and easy to clean. It doubles as a cake pedestal.
