Case is foldable, but the keyboard is not attached. Then you need to hold the keyboard separately, move it in place to close. The charger wire is now loose from pulling it out and the connection is a bit faulty.
There is a command for starting using the keys for IOS, android or other type of system. If you hold down start and letter E it will work with IOS. If you hold down start and Q it works with android. The directions explain a lot of things but the font is so small you may miss this part. If you don’t pair it correctly it may not work so be sure to read and understand the complex directions for charging, lighting, switching, etc. Just because it is cheap doesn’t mean it is easy to use. Once you get used to it works good for the price if you don’t mind some minor issues.The keyboard can be moved around for table top use so that is good. It is a bit tricky when using in your lap but functions well overall.
Excellent Keyboard and Case
I am very happy with this product. It fit my Generation 5 iPad perfectly. I love all the features on the keyboard including the backlit keyboard that turns off in a few seconds. The feel of the keys is sturdy and perfect.
If I had to mention a con it would be that the case does not stand up unless the keyboard is up against it. I would buy this item again and do recommend it.
I was surprised at the backlit keyboard and the color options, I wish the folding part was magnetic like the standard apple version smart cover or whatever it’s called. Overall great value for the cost and worked great as apple doesn’t make a keyboard cover for the 9.7in ipad
