Hefty, strong bowls with lots of useful features
There’s a lot of good to talk about here with these bowls, but I am concerned about one thing, which is that each bowl has a non-slip silicone base and silicone lids, and I’ve found that silicone utensils and other kitchen items have a tendency to absorb odors and liquids, for example if you wash silicone utensils in a dishwasher, they will have a taste of dishsoap permanently. You’d have to go out of your way for this to be a problem here, since the silicone is on the outside, and the lids are marked not dishwasher safe, but I just thought I should mention it.
These bowls are much heavier than I expected, and compared to my other stainless mixing bowls. That’s not a bad thing, it means they’re durable and unlikely to be damaged unless you hit them with a hammer. I’m impressed by a number of the features of this set, to the point I wish every set of mixing bowls had the same features.
– Measurement markings inside all of the bowls (I’ve seen this before but it’s not super common)
– Grater/slicer attachments for the largest bowl’s lid
– non-slip silicone coating on the bottom of each bowl
It’s not all perfect, for example the measurements could be printed darker, the lettering should jyst be black regardless of the color chosen for the lids/silicone coating in the interest of visibility. I’ve attached a picture to this review showing how the contrast could be better. All the same, just the fact that it’s there at all is better than the alternative.
The grater/slicer lid inserts could be bigger, but again, this is something that is so useful I’m not about to make a fuss over it. Being able to slice zucchini or cucumbers or whatever you like directly into the bowl with no mess and no real likelihood of cutting yourself is huge, same goes for grating cheese or whatever you like really. Additionally, because the lids are airtight, once you’ve sliced or grated whatever you’re working on into the bowl, it’s already a great storage vessel to go into the fridge, no need to dirty another dish or container.
I know that silicone is often oven safe, but I still wouldn’t put these bowls in the oven due to the possibility of damaging the silicone coating on the bottoms, and obviously you can’t put the lids in the oven. This is the only realy downside I can see to these bowls compared to a traditional stainless mixing bowl, but honestly I can’t think of a single time I’ve ever needed to put a mixing bowl into a hot oven, so this is a non-issue as far as I’m concerned.
The range of sizes is ideal, the features are all well thought out and nice to have, the price is reasonable for what you’re getting, and the quality of each item seems really high. This is a worthwhile buy for anyone in my mind.
Worth the cost for multiple reasons- especially when on sale!

Th grating aspect, while, in theory, looks to be compact, neat, and with a well thought out variety of blades. Tge sharpness and my finger tips, victim to poorly designed mandolins and graders in the past- must be tested. Honestly, purchasing the steel, hand protecting glove , seems to be a no brainer- regardless of whether you are left handed dominant or live with depth perception problems or not. Great stability with silicone bases promoting safety. Space saving, good looking and will be placed in my ‘wishlist’ to remind me which products are worthy of gifting to family and other loved ones.
Nice bowls, lids don’t fit completely tightly but they’ll do. Not the highest quality but a good deal for the price. I liked that there were 3 grating wheels included that fit in the largest lid for easy grating. Nice surprise!
We wanted to get away from our plastic bowls that we loved and are now in love with this great set of bowls. The silicone base keeps it from moving across the counter and I’ve used every size in the set. The lids fit nicely and the measurements in the bowl are a great help. So easy to make bread, cakes, and everything else good.
