Don't Let The Year Go By Without Them!
I cannot let a year go by without this yearly diary. They have enough room to write very important events for the year, and they are small enough for me to store! I amaze to trace major events in my years by referencing information stored in these yearly/monthly/weekly/daily diaries!!

At-A-Glance Pocket Calendar: good layout, weak binding if in pants pocke
Ref: AT-A-GLANCE 2026 Diary, Fine Diary, Weekly & Monthly, 2.75″ x 4.25″, Pocket Size, Hardcover, Black (72010526). I began using this diary after another supplier stopped selling theirs to individuals. I chose this diary because it covers a full calendar year, provides space to add notes for each day, has adequate paper quality, and easily fits into a dress shirt pocket, or into a rear pants pocket where I usually carry it. The pages open to display a full week with Mon-Wed on the left and Thurs-Sun on the right. Each day has 4 lines on which to make notes plus some open space next to the day and date. The number of days elapsed and remaining in the year are provided for each day. At the top of the left page there are 4 short lines for notes and to the right of this there are two tiny monthly calendars for the current and next month, but the numbers are very small. At the beginning of the book there are simple calendar pages for the previous, current, and next years. At the end of the book there are pages with monthly calendars (two pages per month) for the current year and small boxes in which to write notes. Then there are 4 pages to add notes for each month of the current year. Following these is a page of “Important Dates,” which may or may not apply to all. Then there are several lined pages on which to write Address/Phone, I use them for notes. Then there are several lined pages on which to write notes. All of this perfectly meets my requirements. Some holidays are noted, often weird irrelevant ones (e.g. Benito Juarez birthday, Mexico). This diary has, in my opinion, two major deficiencies which cause me to lower the rating from 5 to 4 stars. If carried in a back pants pocket, I have found that EVERY year the cover will rapidly wear and the binding will disintegrate. I solve this annually by carefully covering the exterior covers with clear packing tape. The manufacturer says they’ll guarantee and replace it but after I have my personal notes written I need to keep these and do not wish to give it to them. The book will gradually become curved if stored in a pants pocket, and I flip how it is placed inside to control this. The other main failing is that on EVERY right-side calendar page at lower right the words “AT-A-GLANCE” are written and consumes about one-third of a line thus reducing space for notes. I refuse to have their pointless ugly advertising appearing every time I use it so use a pen to cover this. AT-A-GLANCE is also written on the cover, a marking pen is used to cover this before I add the packing tape to preserve the cover and binding. The current year is also printed on the outside cover in small gold-colored numbers. Overall, the layout works well for me and it has been maintained the same year to year, which is why I keep getting it despite the noted deficiencies and substantial price increases. I still use a smartphone for a lot of information, but like having this hardcopy backup for details important to me. It’s quicker and easier to use for some things than a phone, doesn’t need a battery, and provides a permanent historical record.
